Mina’s feet became soaked from the heavy rain bleeding into the shoes, as she walked aimlessly around the city. From street to street, and crosswalk to crosswalk. She had no goal, other than to temporarily escape the annoyance of her lover.
Though the walking caused her to become more aggravated than before. Not necessarily with Erwin, but with everybody else. Though that frustration slowly turned to shame as she remembered what she did to her partner. She knew that what she did was unnecessary, to say the least, but she felt as if something in her mind was telling her to. Unfortunately, the regret clouded her mind so much that she walked across a road without caution.
The lights of the upcoming vehicle snapped her back into reality. As this happened, her instincts once again began to kick in. They weren’t telling her to run, but to stay. She quickly raised her left arm out, somehow hoping that would be enough to make the startled driver stop. Though it wasn’t enough.
The driver attempted to stop immediately, which you could tell by the piercing screech of the tires. But the distance was too limited, causing Mina to go through what looked like a painful impact.
