Peer on peer abuse is a form of abuse conducted between children under the age of 18. This can be sexual, physical, financial or emotional.
The younger the children, the more stigmatized it becomes and the more likely the abuse is brushed under the rug and ignored by your peers and the adults in your life.
.
Children can abuse and be fully aware of what they're doing. You are not weak for still being hurt by those who were supposed to be your childhood friends.
.
If you know small children in your life, look after their friendships and watch for signs of abuse. Your child may not know they're being mistreated because they do not have the life experience, but with research, you will know what to look for to prevent permanent psychological problems that will show up later on in life.
"I've climbed this mountain a million times - and died a million more." A short comic about the relationship between a survivor and their abuser. A retelling of a childhood story I wrote.
(Pay little attention to the genres. There's no plot nor characters, just symbolism and a message.)
