In a faraway land, a boy named Bakarra who travels along the solid path of the Blood Desert Sea with his friend, mule, and food source, Datu, a
gigantic sloth/lizard-like animal with a beak and algae sack on his back to use for photosynthesis
when food is low. The story begins when Bakarra found a wreckage of a sand ship after crashing into a gigantic shard of dragon bone. When looking for survivors, Bakarra found a staff with 3 leaf petals, upon touching the staff, he began to see vision of the spirit of the desert speaking to him, ordering him to return the staff to its owner.
