Is there anything worse than being a twelve year old boy and having feelings for someone (another boy, no less!) that you don't quite understand yet, only to find out that they're already dating someone AND they only see you as "just a kid"?? I mean, probably. But for Bash, it just so happens to be the most embarrassing thing ever. Not to mention his idiot brother, who's just adding sprinkles to this Humiliation Sundae. "Excuse me while I crawl into the nearest hole and hide," -Bash, probably.
Author note: I read a lot - I mean A LOT - of BL/webtoons, and anytime there's a flashback that lasts multiple episodes I always find myself thinking, "man, I wanna get back to the main story!" Yet here I am, putting a flashback scene within the first five episodes of my own comic... whoops! And there's more flashback material to come lol. BUT! If you're like me and get annoyed with long flashbacks, try not to think of these as flashbacks, but rather just the beginning of the story. The first chapter (pt 1 & 2) was more of a "flash-forward", if you will. These scenes from the past only help to show the build-up of Bash and Caleb's relationship, so I hope readers enjoy them!
Another author note: About halfway through drawing out this episode, I learned about the "clip layer" function for adding shadows... *facepalm* So hopefully you'll notice less coloring out of the lines haha
Sebastian (aka Bash) has just dropped out of college, moved back home, and found a part-time job at a local restaurant. His first day on the job was going pretty well, until he ran into the owner's nephew, Caleb... like, literally ran into him. It suddenly dawned on Bash that he actually already knew this man. In fact, Caleb just so happened to be Bash's first crush! But geez, it's been like a million years since they've seen each other, and it doesn't seem like Caleb remembers Bash anyway. So it won't be a big deal if he just pretends they've never met. Right?
A BL / LGBTQIA+ love story where some of the events may or may not be very loosely based on personal experiences.
