I know this comic might be a tad unrelatable for many of you - only a small percentage of the population can afford hired help, a solid-gold goblet, and a painting of themselves as a centaur. For example, I myself merely have the painting.
However, the overarching message should resonate - be nice to everyone, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but also because you never know what level of petty revenge someone is capable of.
For instance, I was taught a cruel lesson by a school caretaker, after I poked fun at him once. From that day forth, without fail, I would find the classroom bin atop my desk every morning.
I was nicknamed “Archduke Binsford the 8th, of the Kensington Binsfords” for 3 years. I have never mocked a caretaker since.
