Flowing blue water, washing over the sand. Fluffy (almost cotton candy like) clouds lined the sky, and then there it was… Lennon saw a head sticking out of the water, the person seemed barely alive. His skin was pale and green tinged, his eyes scrunched together and his chest barely moving. Lennon gasped, scared of what this could mean, was he going to lose his mate before even meeting him? He wanted to run towards the person, but his legs were stuck, he had been rendered immobile. He couldn't move, all he could do was look around helplessly. Finally he noticed that the beach he was seeing was on his clan’s land, not far from where he was now, just a hop away.
Then all of a sudden everything turned black, and Lennon got ready to go back to the cave, yet it didn't happen. Lennon was confused, did it usually take this long to go back? Then light started shining, phew guess it's all good. The light got brighter and brighter, then…then… Lennon saw Jake.
For just a flash, Lennon thought that he was imagining it, but Jake had turned and made eye contact and just before Lennon got sucked out of the vision he saw Jake's bewildered expression. But what was even more confusing was the look of hope in Jake's eyes, a look that he hoped he was misinterpreting. And then he was back in the cave, his heart racing and his palms sweaty. He looked up and saw his father gazing back at him, his face was contorted and twisted.
“Dad?” Lennon whispered, “What's going on?”
“Son, you have two mates,” Oscar breathed, “Come we have to help your mate!”
Oscar dragged Lennon out of the cave, and as soon as they cleared the exit he beelined to jake. Dragging the two of them he bolted to the beach, using their super speed they made good time, yet when they reached the beach, what they saw was…
