The mana restriction potion would prevent the target from using mana for 1 hour and the Paralyzing potion would paralyze them for 1 hour. Both the potion were devoid of any smell or color, so they were almost impossible to detect.

The tier 1 potion would be effective against any 1st Circled mage and tier 2 potion would be effective against any 2nd circled mage.

Kevin had initially planned to consume a potion that would neutralize the effect of the these potion in case he failed to remove the guards suspension  but it wasn't necessary as they were very cautious. 

Both the tier 1 potion would start showing it's effect after 15 seconds, while the tier 2 would take 25 seconds.  

The only problem if the leader of the guards would have 10 seconds to come after kevin or send a message for backup through a messaging crystal. But kevin also had a plan for that.

Kevin slowly went behind a nearby tree and took out the two items that had brought from the black market.

One was  a Communication disrupting formation and other was a sound concealing formation. Both were only a single usage formation. The former would not allow any form of communication through messaging crystals and the latter would not allow any sound to escape from the effective area for 3 hours.

The former was to prevent any call for backup and latter was to make sure that no demonic beast would interfere in his plan.

After silently activating the formation, Kevin went back to prepare the meal. Soon he informed everyone that the food is ready. Emily who would as usual eat in her tent, the four guards would eat together while kevin would eat alone and the coachman would eat after everyone. 

Kevin then served the meal to all of them but not before adding the potions to their respective meals.

After serving meals to everyone, he sat back at his usual place while everyone waited for Emily's permission to eat. 

" You can eat." Emily spoke in her usual arrogant voice and everyone started eating their meals.

Kevin also ate his meal but he was finding it hard to prevent a smile from forming on his face.

Exactly after 10 seconds kevin slowly stood up while holding his throat and the guards turned to look at him. Just as Kevin met their eyes he held out one of his hands as if asking for help and then suddenly collapsed on the ground. 

The leader of the guards stood up to check on kevin but suddenly his 3 companions also collapsed.

The guard leader Ron couldn't understand what was going on but he still came back to his senses and started running towards Emily's tent to check whether she was alright or not. While running he took out a messaging crystal and called for help.

" We are under attack, I am rushing towards young miss.

 Immediately send help. 

I will try to return her to safety."

After that he broke the crystal which would be the final step to send a message while using messaging crystal.

Ron swiftly entered the luxurious tent only to see that Emily had collapsed just like the rest of his companions and Kevin. He quickly approached Emily and then checked her vitals to make sure she was alive. He sighed in relief when he found her pulse.

" Young miss, are you alrig...." Ron couldn't even complete his sentence as he found himself falling toward the ground. He tried to move his body and circulate his mana but wasn't able to do so.

As Ron was falling towards the ground, Kevin got the system notification that he was eagerly waiting for.

Kevin stopped acting unconscious and got up from the ground. He patted his clothes as he moved toward the coachman who was too afraid to even move when he heard Ron saying that they were under attack. He didn't even react when Kevin knocked him out.

Kevin then grabbed his unconscious body and laid him in front of Emily's tent.

He also did the same with the other three guards and dropped them in front of her tent.

He went Emily's tent, seeing them collapsed on the ground he smiled and then picked them up by their clothes and took them outside.

Making them sit with their back supported by the tent so that they could see the three paralyzed guards. 

Kevin saw them all looking at him with hateful gazes and he knew it was time to start the final phase of his plan which required his excellent acting skills.
