Kevin just stood there for a few minutes and then suddenly tears started flowing out his eyes and he showed an expression of feeling extreme guilt.

" I am sorry. I didn't want to do this. They threatened me and said if I don't follow their orders, they will kill me."

Kevin kept repeating this for 10 minutes and he sometime held his head as if he really didn't want to do this.

Emily and the guards still looked at him with hateful eyes but there was also confusion visible in them.

Various thoughts were running inside their minds.

As kevin realized that he had successfully planted a seed of doubt in them, he proceeded further with his plan.

"No, t-this is wrong.

I shouldn't have done this?

I can't betray the family which my parents gave their life for.

I can still make things right.

Yes, I will give them the antidote to make their body and mana return to normal" Kevin said as if he truly wanted to make things right.

The guards and Emily's felt somewhat relieved as they knew they were powerless right now and anyone could kill them right now but if Kevin would give them that antidote, then they could kill him and return to safety.

As Kevin saw their hopeful eyes, he took out a bowl and started moving toward Ron. 

But suddenly stopped as if realizing something and then shook his head as he pointed towards Ron.

" No, even if I free you now, you will still kill me."

If they could, Emily and the guards would click their tongue as they all were thinking to kill Kevin once he freed them.

" But I don't want to kill you guys. What to do?" Kevin acted as if he was really trying hard to find a solution. 

He kept pacing back and forth while inwardly laughing as he saw their eyes filled with fear and hope at the same time. 

After a few moments Kevin halted and he smiled in excitement as if he had finally found a way.

" Yes, I can do that.

This way I can free them while not worrying about my safety. "

Seeing the happiness and relief oozing out of everyone's eyes when they heard Kevin's words, he laughed inwardly again and then opened system shop.

All Kevin's meticulous planning was for this moment. He saw this Servant contract when he first checked the system shop inside his house and as soon as the guard informed him that he will be traveling to the Royal Academy with Emily, this plan formed inside his mind. He had went to the black market to buy the Communication disrupting formation and sound concealing formation to make sure that no one could disrupt his plan.

Now he only needed to somehow trick Emily and Ron into agreeing to this, as for the other three guards and coachman, he didn't have enough System points to buy more servant contracts. So, he planned to kill them as leaving them alive would only cause him more troubles. In his previous life as a hero, he had given his enemies many chances but it only costed him more trouble. Coming out of his thoughts, he stood in front of Emily and Ron, and looked them in the eyes.

Taking a deep breath he acted as if he was summoning something from his spatial ring and took out the two servant contract. Both Emily and Ron looked at the ancient looking scroll in Kevin's hand with confusion.

Seeing their confusion Kevin started speaking.

" First of all, I am really sorry for betraying you guys but I was doing it to save my life." he gave a full bow to make his act even more believable. 

" Now I have realized that this is wrong and I wish to make things right but I also know that freeing you guys without ensuring my safety is foolish. " Kevin stopped to look at Emily and Ron. Seeing that their full attention was on him, he continued while raising his hand containing the Servant contract.
