Carina slowly got out of bed and walked to her closet. She quickly found an outfit to wear and got dressed. A little while later, she left for school.

“Good morning, Carina,” Payton said with a smile.

“Good morning,” Carina said, landing on the giant white cloud garden that surrounded their school. “How was last night with Anemos?”

“It was…wonderful!” Payton gushed. “He even kissed me!”
“That’s amazing,” Carina said. “So…does that mean you both are dating?”

“Yes. He asked me out on a real date last night,” Payton said with a huge smile.

She then turned to face Carina.

“What about you and Ivan? Did anything special happen with you two last night?” Payton asked.

Carina blushed.

“He kissed me,” Carina said with a flustered smile.

“Aw!” Payton said.

“What are we aweing about?” Rayn said, flying over to join them on their walk towards school.

“Ivan kissed Carina last night,” Payton explained.

“Awe,” Rayn said with a smile.

“And Anemos kissed me,” Payton said. “Don’t worry. I wouldn’t ever think about hurting your brother.”

Rayn nodded and smiled.

“I know. I don’t think you would even have the heart to tell him you don’t want to go out with him, even if you lost feelings for him,” Rayn said.

“That is true,” Payton said, nodding. “I don’t think I would have the heart to do that.”

“What about you and Damian?” Carina asked, looking at Rayn. “Anything interesting happen last night?”
“Not at all,” Rayn said, blushing.

“I definitely believe that,” Carina said with a smirk.

Payton smirked too.

“I do too,” Payton said with a smirk still on her face.

“Ok. Ok. We kissed. That’s it!” Rayn said, rolling her eyes.

Carina smiled.

“I knew you were made for each other,” Payton said with a smile.

“I wouldn’t say that…,” Rayn said with a small smile.

Payton then rolled her eyes.

Rayn then turned to face Carina.

“Do your parents know that Ivan is an anti-cupid?” Rayn asked.

“Um…I don’t think so,” Carina said with a sigh. “I’m going to have to tell them at some point since Ivan and I are officially dating.”

“Probably the best idea,” Rayn said with a nod. “Do his parents know that you're a cupid?”

“Yeah. They don’t seem very pleased about it. At least, that’s what Ivan said. They didn’t stop him from going out with me though,” Carina said.

“Well, we all are almost adults. We’re seventeen. I think they know that if they say something, Ivan won’t listen to them because he’s so in love with you,” Rayn said.

“That’s true. He’s so head over heels for you. It’s SUPER obvious,” Payton said with a smile.

“I don’t think he’s in LOVE with me,” Carina said, rolling her eyes.

Payton and Rayn then exchange looks.

“Whatever you say,” Rayn said with a shrug.

“If you do meet his parents, promise me that you will make sure that you will continue being your amazing kind self?” Payton said. “They will love you, even if they feel like they shouldn’t. Trust me.”

Payton winked.

“Alright. I will. I promise,” Carina said with a smile, grateful to have such amazing friends.

Carina walked up the front steps of Ivan’s house. She got to the front black metal door with a large silver knocker and took a deep breath.

“It’s going to be ok,” Carina muttered to herself, trying to calm her nerves.

She then used the silver knocker to knock on the door.

The silver door knob slowly turned and Ivan answered the door.

He smiled.

“Hello beautiful,” Ivan said, a smile still on his face.

“Hey, Ivan,” Carina said, blushing a little.

Ivan walked up to Carina and wrapped his arms around her waist. He then pressed his forehead against hers.

Carina rest her arms on top of his shoulders, encircling the back of his neck.

“They're going to love you,” Ivan whispered, comfortingly.

Carina smiled.

“What if they don’t?” Carina whispered back, doubt creeping into her mind.

“Well, too bad because I am NOT breaking up with you,” Ivan said, removing his forehead from Carina’s. He then booped her nose.

Carina let out a small giggle.

“What would I do without you?” Carina asked, staring into Ivan’s dark gray eyes.

Ivan smiled.

“What would I do without you?” He repeated with a smile. He pushed a small curly strand of Carina’s hair behind her ear with his hand.

Ivan then kissed her.

Carina kissed back.

Ivan broke the kiss and smiled.

“You ready?” Ivan asked.

“As ready as I’ll ever be,” Carina said, taking in a deep breath.

Ivan then led Carina inside.
