I'm not usually chatty in Tapas descriptions but there are more and more symbols and stuff hidden the pages so, if you're interested and curious, here are a few thoughts I went through while working on this update!
The first purpose of those pages was to make Black Death's job clearer. They are not killers, but it may happen.
Introduction of the cross, painted on the doors as a threat. Since Black Death is built on the plague of the same name, "A plague cross is a mark placed on a building occupied by victims of plague". That's an important element!
Like the Tiger crowned with the rose window of Notre Dame for his first appearance, the sunset behind Tera in the last page refers to the Chiaroscuro (Light-Darkness) : the horizon is cut in two. It's the line between the realm of light and darkness. A fight. It represents Tera's mind and thoughts at that moment. It's confused. He's going through an inner struggle.
Last but not least: there is a visual reference hidden in these pages. The Gates of Hell, by Rodin, page 412 (just after the black one). The Thinker originated from this. He stands above the door from where we see people emerging from Hell, twisted by pain. At first the Thinker was representing Dante meditating on his work and on the underworld (where he went). And that's the idea!
I built the page around it. Tera sitting, watching from above the building across the street, absorbed in his thoughts, looking at "his work". The disaster he causes.
The page is like the door.
Honestly the comic is full of stuff like that-
PS. Don't get confused, only the Rabbit is talking at the end.

Update every month!!! Thank you for reading <3
Just think of two boys, thinking they’re in the right place, comfortable in their everyday life. Nothing to break their plans for the future. And suddenly they crash on that other one, who is so different and far away from what they know that it blows up their world. But now someone is looking at them. Seeing them for the first time. And they are so moved and overwhelmed by that feeling that they are ready to give up on everything else, and escape from, they realize it now, what was a prison.
Because they’ve met each other, their respective worlds have come apart, it's like a collision. And now they are an anchor for each other, the only compass in this new world where they are lost.
