‘Ugh, really?’ Mattias groaned.

‘Oh don’t worry, this time around, you have a choice! One will be to murder another peasant in a village near your castle, or to clean a farm that has recently been vacated’ Mattias looked shocked when he heard the bit about the farm.

‘Really? Now that’s a really tough choice’ he was quiet for about ten seconds ‘I know you’ll be shocked to hear this, but I’m going to clean this farm’

‘Oh really? Now, this isn’t just any farm. It’s absolutely filthy’

‘Huh. A bit like you, I guess’

‘Viola?’ he was talking to the woman in the leotard.

‘Yes, master?’

‘Would you personally go with cleaning the farm?’

‘Oh, never! I’ll murder someone any day! Hahahaha!’ Mattias just glared at her.

‘Huh. Easy for a bitch like you to say’ he remarked.

‘Oh, don’t be silly. I’m a nice girl once you get to know me. In fact, I feel we could be partners!’ she started laughing again.

‘Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I’m sticking with the farm’

‘Would you like a second opinion?’ asked Kyros ‘How does my dear Katrine feel about this?’ Katrine was the one with magic powers.

‘I’ll just warn you about this, Mattias’ she began ‘It’s no ordinary farm, and it’ll take you a good while to clean up. Doing the murder will be quicker. Speaking of which, I know this sounds like a lot for you, but you really should get someone else pinned for your murder. The people at your castle will only trust you for so long’

‘Well, that’s something else we should surely have taken care of, isn’t it?’ said Kryos ‘Now, make your decisions. I am warning you, though. I’d personally go with the murder option’

‘Well, I’m not a heartless monster like you, now am I? I’m still going with the farm. As for pinning someone else for the murder, that’s something I’ll need to think about’ he paused for a moment ‘Hold on, who am I even supposed to pin it on?’

‘Well, Katrine here will assist you with that. In fact, she’s going to assist you with quite a few things on this mission’ Katrine went up towards him. ‘Lead him to your quarters, my dear!’

‘Yes, master’ Katrin was walking towards a tunnel to the right of where Kyros was sitting. Mattias followed her. ‘Hey, Mattias?’

‘Yeah?’

‘Don’t take this the wrong way, but I’ve noticed you’ve been looking at Viola quite a lot’ Mattias gasped the moment she said that.

‘Oh no, there’s something you need to know about her’

‘She’s a type of monster who seduces men in order to do her bidding. This would be causing chaos between families, factions and even to cause wars’ Mattias was chuckling.

‘Sounds like fun!’ Katrin just sighed.

‘I figured you would say that. Listen, if she flirts with you, remember that she’s not doing that because she loves you, or anything. She wants to control you, to extort you’

‘That doesn’t sound too bad’ Katrin looked increasingly agitated.

‘Well, listen here, then. If someone wants you but is trying to manipulate you in order to be with you, you’ll not be in a happy relationship. And I’m just saying that in general, not just with succubi’ they were in her quarters, which looked a lot more like a lab. There was a cauldron boiling and a load of chemical apparatuses on a desk. She lead him towards a blade that was stuck in a sheath. ‘Does this look familiar?’

‘Hmmm, that’s kind of looks like the blade I used last night’

‘It is’ she picked it up ‘What I did was that I used a compound to preserve the blood inside, and to make it multiply. If you were to take it out, there will be a lot of blood!’

‘And here’s another good thing: there’s a fellow in a village close to where the murder happened. He’s the perfect guy to plant this on. He was said to be on bad terms with the guy, there were even rumours he was going to kill him himself’

‘Yeah? They weren’t stirred up by the likes of you, were they?’ Katrine sighed upon hearing that.

‘I have to say, you’re smarter than you look. So anyway, I also wanted to say that this village is sort of on the way to where the farm is, so you’ll be able to kill two birds with one stone’

‘All right’

‘One last thing: we’re doing this together. I want to make sure for your sake this all goes down without a hitch’ she picked up a wand, stood next to Mattias and pointed it at the ceiling. A a blue arua engulfed the two of them.
