Read Island :: Down in the Belly

After waking, he decided to search the ship for supplies. He found: rope, string, a dagger, candles and a flint and steel. There was also a small cage that he thought might have used to contain a parrot. Hoping to find some tools, he began the climb down into the ship's cargo hold. Under the groaning mass of the vessel, he found only some broken wood and animal skulls. Suddenly, illuminated by the rays of light streaming in through the cracked hull, he saw a chest. Scrambling over, he heaved the dusty lid open.

Inside, he found something that would change his life forever… A piece of paper. Laminated paper. Coated with plastic. Trystn sat down on a fallen beam, confused. At first glance, the island seemed untouched by modern man; now he wasn't so sure. Just then, the thought that should have hit him when he arrived struck him: why was he here?
