Everyone at the festival slowly got up, multiple of the Lysdon angels tried to use their light-summoning powers yet nothing. Creation angels tried healing different people, but also nothing. All other angels tried using their powers yet still nothing. One of the princesses, dressed in green and blue, grabbed the microphone "No one panic, angelic powers will temporarily be unable for use for a few hours so please, remain calm and stay where you are until authority help arrives" she told everyone. Amenadiel turned to the queen and Candace "What happened?" Candace questioned, the high priestess confused by what just happened as Ianthe got off the platform to help her up "The Sunstone sensed the Light... they must've been one of the dancers" Ianthe answered as Amenadiel looked over at Michael with a glare. "Brother-" "The Light shouldn't be here" Michael slightly snapped at his older brother, glancing over and catching sight of something before quickly getting up and limping through the crowd. Gamer slowly sat up, head pounding and veins buzzing. The mask had fallen off, now sitting in front of him as he looked around before someone grabbed him tightly on the arm and yanked him up to his feet, Gamer immediately froze up as he looked up at Michael.

(No One's Pov)
Gamer jolted awake, looking around the room, noticing he was in his bedroom. The fallen glanced at the bedside table, snatching his phone off it and looking at the time... about nine-thirty. Gamer sat up properly as he quickly opened the news app and scrolled through it.
Heavenly Light Festival: Light Stone Incident
1987's Light Festival Gone Awfully Wrong
Repeat of 1985's Festival Disaster
Small Power Outage Due To Light Stone at This Year's 'Heavenly Light Festival'
Sunstone Incident Repeated
Is The Light Stone Corrupted?
The list kept going, the festival was all what everyone was talking about. Gamer finally came across a news broadcast that had aired only an hour ago, he clicked on it, bring up the video on his phone.
"Last night's Heavenly Light Festival held in Lykros, Heaven's Peace Region capital, has taken a rather awful turn as a repeat of 1985's festival incident had unfortunately hit the beloved festival again" footage of last night's 'Light Summoning' dance appeared at the top of the screen, showing all angels smiling and having fun... Gamer saw it. The Sunstone's faint glowing flicker before a small invisible shockwave hit everyone present at the festival, closely followed by another, much more powerful, shockwave, blasted right from the Light Stone. "Rumours are now widely spreading across all magic realms about this incident; few believe the Light Stone and runestone to be corrupted whilst some believe that this is a sign that the Light Stone's Guardian has been finally chosen... and that there is after all a new Heavenly Light Spirit" the reporter stated "That Heaven's hope has reignited the divine and guardian's spirits... now, thousands of angels swarm the Light Temple to pray and show their hope and love for the guardian and divine spirit, more angels attending the Light Festival today- over a million more than what attended the incident last night-" Gamer paused the video and turned off his phone.
Nonsense. All of it.
The last 'Light Spirit' has been dead for nineteen years now and the 'Light Stone Guardian' has been dead since the first Haven War. They can believe in whatever crap they want, but Gamer's not buying it one bit. Both are dead and that's that.
A light knock came from his bedroom door as the fallen turned his head towards it "Gamer? it's Death, can I come in?" the ripper's voice asked as Gamer relaxed a bit "Yeah" he answered back, a second later, Death hesitantly opened the door and stepped into the room, closing the door behind himself. "Feeling better?" Death asked as Gamer shrugged his shoulders "Yes and no... still feel a little off" the fallen answered, looking back down at his bed "Don't exactly remember much- just leaning against the back of a booth before everything went black" he added as Death slowly walked over to him "You uh... passed out in front of everyone" the ripper told him "I carried you back to your room whilst Nile and June calmed everyone down". Gamer's brows frowned "After you blacked out, the tv broadcast showed the festival being hit with two shockwaves from the stones- you blacking out right before that freaked the customers out" the ripper continued as the fallen covered his face with his hands "How embarrassing" he mumbled to himself.
Freak.
"So.... want to tell me what that was about?" Death questioned, Gamer looked at the ground as the ripper sat down beside him. After a minute of thinking, the fallen signed "Back in Heaven and... always this time of year I would get dizzy, light-headed, overwhelmed and... pass out for hours" Gamer stated as Death raised a concerned brow "Ever since I was created, that always happened... and eventually Michael told me I was just prone to being sick during March and April" the fallen continued. "So every time the Light Festival was on, I mostly watched whatever I could on the tv before passing out again, but..." Gamer took a slight breath as he closed his eyes "The first and last time I wasn't sick before or during the festival was two years ago, months before I met you" the fallen stated, glancing at Death for a second before looking back at the ground. "And since I wasn't sick, I asked Michael if I could go to the festival's opening... and he said no" Gamer told the ripper, Death feeling a little anger towards the archangel "But you're-... you were a Creation angel, you had an equal right to attend the opening-" "He told me that I wasn't a real angel" the fallen cut Death off "That I was too powerless and useless- one look at me and they all would've avoided me like the plague... like they always did" Gamer continued, slight hurt and anger in his own voice. "...I stayed at the temple the whole day, sitting on the front steps, waiting for the day to just be over... until one of the sisters of the temple saw me and convinced me to go against Michael's wishes" Gamer told the ripper, now finally looking up at Death "She lent me her cloak and a mask before walking me over to the festival- it was so amazing and beautiful, and I got to join in on the dancing with several Lysdon and Creation angels... but then the displayed Sunstone glowed brightly and sent a powerful shockwave throughout Heaven" Gamer stated as Death looked at the ground a bit "Yeah, I remember seeing that on the tv broadcast whilst working" the ripper stated. "Heaven had a massive blackout and that shockwave was almost like an earthquake" Gamer stated "Every Lysdon and Creation angel temporarily had no magic for a few hours... when it happened, I fell to the ground and my mask fell off and luckily, only Michael saw and noticed me... he grabbed me by the arm and dragged me and the sister who helped me back to the temple".
"At the same time, the palace guards who usually guarded the Sunstone immediately took it back to the volt" Gamer continued "...that was the last time they let the Sunstone be displayed at the festival until last night" Death stated as Gamer nodded his head "Michael called both Mother Zoraida and High Priestess Candace, and had the sister be permanently removed of her title and from the temple grounds... he then took me home and grounded me for a month, he even spelled the door so I couldn't leave the house without him" the fallen stated as Death's brows frowned. "He locked you in your own house for a month?" "Yes" Gamer answered "He was freaked out like everyone else at the festival and seeing me there, he immediately went into 'protective brother mode'-" "Don't defend him" Death cut Gamer off as the fallen looked away from the ripper "I'm not defending him, I'm stating the obvious... I hated him before, during and after that" the fallen stated, glaring at the ground. "When I was younger... I used to be dead afraid of the dark" Gamer randomly told the ripper as Death raised a brow "Michael knew that and so every time I did something wrong, he locked me in a pitch black room until daylight" Gamer stated "But very quickly, I got over that fear because at that time, the darkness of that room was the closest thing to comfort I had... but then Michael found out and used his powers on me" hearing that, Death was beyond angry. 'Who the hell uses their powers on their own brother-' Death froze mid-thought, feeling a little guilt as Gamer continued "...I'm afraid of being alone" the fallen admitted, his confession immediately saddening the ripper "He avoided me even more, to the point he pretended as though I never existed... and whenever he acknowledged my existence, it was either him yelling at me or giving me a command".
'He's spent his whole life alone' Death thought to himself 'Neglected and shunned for who he is...' he understood. He knows exactly what that feels like, he's been through all that before. Loneliness, neglection, hatred of who and what he is... all of it.
"But... I'm a demon now, in Hell" Gamer stated as Death turned his head back to the fallen "I have friends- a new family who like me for who I am and actually care about me" the fallen continued, bring a small yet faint smile to the ripper's lips "This is my second chance- Heaven can go fuck itself" Gamer said and immediately upon hearing that, Death burst out laughing. Gamer laughed a bit too "What?" "I barely hear you swear- that was just fucking awesome!" the ripper stated, still laughing a bit as the fallen smirked, rolling his eyes.
"This year's 'Heavenly Light Festival' has taken a horrible toll as last night's incident with not only the Sunstone, but the Light Stone too, sending earthquake-equivalent shockwaves throughout Heaven resembling a awful repeat of 1985's festival incident that left half of both the Creation and Lysdon angel populations seriously injured. Fortunately, last night's incident had no injuries but small scratches and bruises yet sent a realm-wide power outage that lasted a few hours along with damage received to Lykros' city square, it's center severely cracked along with close buildings and shops' walls, windows and flooring sharing the same damage. The city square has been taped off to the public as immediate repairs go underway whilst the royal family and Light Temple have made the bold decision to keep the festival running to the remainder of the week".
The motorbike guy sat in a café named 'The Bloody Bistro', a small shop located in the city square of Sreeburn... the current city the guy was staying in until he gets a new job sent to him. He sat at a table in the back corner by a window, cup of black coffee sitting in front of him whilst staring at his phone as he silently listened to the radio playing throughout the café- another guy sat down at his table, knocking the leg of the motorbike guy's chair to grab his attention "Dude- Kenzo?!" he stared in confused shock as he looked back at the sunkiss skined, green eyed and bright blue haired devil sitting across from him. "Yo- Adam!" Kenzo brightly smiled "Last I saw ya, you were in Eyluuvale back in the Threat Region" Kenzo stated as the faint memory of neon-graffiti-lit streets and blue-purple lights consumed flashed through Adam's mind "Yeah... regret going to that nightclub" the demon muttered as Kenzo leaned back in his chair. "Dude, wha'ca doing here in Sreeburn? thought this place was too 'crowded' and 'open targeted' for someone like you?" the devil questioned as Adam turned back to his phone "Work" he answered as Kenzo rolled his eyes "Of course it's fucking work- it's always work with you, isn't it?" the devil questioned as Adam scrolled through his phone "Uh-huh" he boredly agreed. "So that means you're staying in town for a bit, right?" the blue-haired devil questioned as the motorbike guy continued to ignore him "Uh-huh" Kenzo narrowed his eyes a bit "You're ignoring me, aren't you?" "Uh-huh" Adam answered before Kenzo snatched his phone away, resulting in the demon immediately looking up and glaring at the devil. Kenzo smirked a bit "Jez- for a betraka demon, you're glued to this phone-" "Cuz I have a job, Kenzo" Adam harshly reminded the other, eyes burning a bright toxic dark green "And unlike you, I take it very seriously" he stated, snatching his phone back and once the device is back in his hands, his eyes fade back to their ice blue.
"Party-pooper" Kenzo mumbled, leaning back in his chair as he folded his arms "It's always work-" "And for you, it's always partying and drunken night outs where I always end up dragging your drunken ass back to the hotel" Adam stated as the devil glared back at him "Just let me show you around town and hangout until your next job" Kenzo suggested. Adam thought to himself for a moment before checking his phone again, still nothing... the betraka demon signed in angered annoyance "Fine" he agreed through his teeth as Kenzo cheered in victory.
