Volume Summary: For their weekend hiking trip in the woods, Beatrix and her friends stay at a nice rental house that’s rumored to be haunted. However, the trip goes from thrilling to chilling when Beatrix awakens in the night to find her friends have disappeared without a trace. Searching for them or signs of their whereabouts leads to Beatrix learning about the house’s true nature, and she begins to think that the rumors have more weight than they realized. She must reunite with her friends, discover the cause behind the house’s spooky nature, and put a stop to it so they can escape with their lives.
