Analyn runs into the forest with Cinder. Small critters flee in fear of them as they run. They're both in a rush to explore everything, as neither of them have seen that deep into the forest. Together, they find a log and sit down. Analyn sits down and Cinder soon follows.
"About the kingdom..." Analyn stutters.
"Yeah?" Cinder asks.
"Why do they hate you? Why don't you live with them and not out here?"
"I'm transgender. They're homophobic, but I didn't know that until I came out. They were gonna kill me for being 'unholy', but I escaped before they could. They didn't think it was worth it to come out here," Cinder explains, "You aren't upset, right?"
"Of course I don't care!" Analyn said, half laughing.
Analyn and Cinder's voices begin to fade away. The forest is quiet. "Why's it so quiet? When we were hunting, noise was all around." Analyn remarked.
"True." Cinder admits, "But there may not be as many critter homes as near the entrance."
Analyn begins to reconize Cinder's claims. "Well, I'm getting a bit tired. Mind going home?" she asks.
"I'll take you home if you'd like." Cinder says. Together, they walk out of the forest. Despite not doing much, Analyn gets sleepy and falls asleep in her bed.
You know about those classic fairytales, right? Where the princess gets captured by a dragon, maybe a witch or goblin. Then, a brave knight comes in. I mean maybe it's just any old dude but usually a knight. Anyways, you know those? Well this is not one of those stories. If you like those stories I advise you leave.
