Aiden's POV
People looked at me weird as I walked to school. Did I have something on my face? I sighed mentally and tried to ignore it. I heard the kids from school start whispering as soon as I entered the front gate. Literally everyone watched me as if I was some wild animal passing through. I sat at my usual spot and hoped everyone would stop staring at me eventually. I barely remembered how my first lesson went, but my maths teacher wasn't amused by how zoned-out I was. On my way to second period, I got pushed by someone all of a sudden, almost losing my balance. Nathan. 'What did I do to deserve this shit?' I thought as I continued walking to my next lesson. The rest of the day also went by like nothing. Only a few of the regular comments were said about me, and Nathan didn't do anything more to me. I was walking home now, and I slightly hated how silent everything was. Nothing special happened as I walked, just more people watching and whispering.
"Hi, honey!" my mother said when I walked into the house.
"Hi, mum," I said, walking over to her and hugging her. I noticed that my father's shoes were gone from the entryway, "Did dad leave for work?"
"Yes. Your father will be back tomorrow morning and staying for a whole week, though!" She said, excited to have her husband home for a while rather than his usual half-a-day visits once a month.
"That's great," I said with a wide smile before asking, "Where's Kayla?"
"Oh, she made this friend at school, so those two girls are having a play date," my mother explained, receiving a smile from me. "We're having spaghetti for dinner again because we still have left-over sauce," she explained.
"Alright, I'll be up in my room," I told her before rushing upstairs. 'Something's off about her,' I thought, wondering if she found out about the kiss. Whatever. This wasn't the time to worry about that.
Amanda's (Aiden's mother) POV
(Note: this begins while Aiden's walking home)
I almost didn't believe what I heard last night. Drunk boys were being loud outside, so I was going to tell them to be quieter, but then I heard what they were talking about. "Still can't believe that the stupid faggot thought that Alex loved him," one of them said. "Yeah *hiccup* 'is name was, uhhhhhh, Aiden wasn' it" The other guy slurred his words so much that I barely understood when he said my son's name. Wait, he called my son a fag? No, there was no way Aiden was one of those, was he? "I bet the weirdo enjoyed the kiss," the first guy said, laughing drunkenly. What? My son kissed a boy?
I'm going to have a very long talk with Louis about what to do about this. I put on a fake smile and stopped thinking about the memory when I heard the front door open.
"Hi, honey!" I said, pushing the thoughts to the back of my mind for now.
Oooo she does know! Hehe. Time to make everything go downhill from here. Sprry about all of the times that I've had to put notes saying that something started while another thing was still going on or anything like that. It just seems that that's the best way to intergrate the thoughts and feelings and stuff of the povs. Anyway, the sudden inspiration to write an episode hit me at 1:30am in the morning, when I need to wake up at 6:30am, so I wrote. Quite a pivotal moment in the story. Anyway, I hope you have a nice day/night/whatever time it is for you. Don't be like me and try to go to sleep at a reasonable time. Comment any suggestions or thoughts on the episodes and make sure to take care of yourself, there's only one 'you' in the world, and you deserve every good thing that happens to you :)
