Nearly a decade ago, I joined the Webcomic Underdogs and submitted Nate the Robot for review. I was growing tired of it being a gag comic and I had been adding more story to the comics even though there was no story, and I wanted some feedback.
The feedback I received was that I needed an antagonist and to plan my writing instead of doing it on the fly. And so, in 2014 (maybe 2015), I published episode 75 that introduced the "H8" robot, and soon after a sinister cloaked figure. I kept going but on October 26th, 2015 (episode 122) I decided that I couldn't keep producing this comic the way I had been. Nate the Robot then had no updates for two years.
I hadn't quit doing Nate, but rather I'd spent the time piecing together the small pieces of story that I had written until this point and turning them into a real story. And nearly 5 years later, here we are reaching the first climactic point I had come up with in my Nate rewrite.
I hope it was worth the Nate, because things start going crazy from here!
