It was the dawn of a new day. It was a hopeful, yet desolate dawn.
When our gods formed a new world, the gods of the old world waged war upon them.
Of course, we all know how this story ends. Alas, our lands were set to waste with devastation.
And yet, in the face of that inevitable doom – that destruction, our founding gods and people held on to resilience, courage, and healing.
It was from that destruction that we were able to rebuild our world anew, and create this beautiful world we live in today.
Elzina Forsyth. That is the name of the founder of the land of Glaciae. She was a knight from the old world who became a divine warrior, as our god Glaciae became one with her soul. She was on the front lines of battle, facing off against the invading gods’ forces.
She truly was a hero in that war. She believed that even if no one was at her side, as long as she had the will in her, she could still fight and survive.
Many lost hope; many fell to death in the wake of destruction. But against the odds, Elzina held on to courage. She kept on fighting, defending the lives of this world. Because of her, there were those whose spirits were inspired, taking courage and following her blade.
Those who fought with her and believed in her followed her to the snowy north, praising her courage that saved their lives. After the war, they rallied to create the land of Glaciae, with Elzina as its leader. With the god Glaciae watching over them, they wished to become a land of strength.
Thanks to courage, thanks to hope – from the ashes of destruction, our land was created. Though Elzina wanders the lands away from us now, Glaciae’s spirit still grants us blessings through our daily lives, giving us strength.
We believe in courage, and Elzina’s courage set our hearts ablaze. We fight to perpetuate her will, undying. We fight to preserve that ideal for this land our ancestors created from the wake of desolation.
This is our core, our heart. It is a flame that we, as a people, will always burn brightly in our lives, forever until the end of time. That is our passion, our will, and our covenant.
