A few moments later I hear a slight shift, my heart nearly jumping out of my chest as along with the sudden shift a voice booms from the left to where I am positioned.
"Dude, how much longer do we have to stay here!" someone says, giving me a near to death heart attack, after getting used to dead silence!
"Can you shut it!" a deep voice commands, in a hushed shouting tone, coming from my right side.
I'm astounded by actually hearing voices, as it's been about an hour and I'd given up hope on anyone being here but now there's TWO people besides myself that's in what I could only imagine what an abyss would feel like!
How were they able to be so still and quiet for so long without talking to each other, I know I would've at least played a quiet game or something but not just keep still in complete utter darkness. Or at the very least, due to the situation we're in, I would've been whispering to each other to strategize a plan of some sort.
Why were they still and quiet for so long... As realization sets in, I'm grateful I had decided earlier to not make any noise as there's clearly an obvious reason for the deafening silence.
I don't plan on saying something aloud after hearing the voices not wanting to expose myself any further or put myself in any possible danger.
