Little late coming back to this comic. A karate teacher told me always to "enter the fight with the intent of killing but stop short only to put them down for the count". Resolve is just the intention of the user in a sense? anyone can shoot a gun and kill someone whether they are playing or not, but with resolve if you are playing around does the gun's projectile go a lil slower than normal?
