I hear some shifting from the right of me, the person talking earlier seemed to be moving closer to me, I kept still not wanting to make a noise, and hoped the person didn’t get too close.

“Astrianna” the deep voice whispers, at first I’m stunned this person knows my name, I could barely put the voice to a name, and not being able to see their face didn’t help.

“Yes,” I whisper back, not wanting to be rude.

“Ahh, good you’re awake” the voice whispers back, “I’ll catch you up on everything that has happened once it’s a bit safer” he continues as he shifts a little bit more finally seeming to be comfortable.

“Archer” I hear what I know to only be Ingenes’ voice, “Is she awake” she questions in a hushed voice.

“Yes” the deep voice that is now beside me replies.

“Ingene is that you,” I ask softly, hoping that my best friend is really here with me.

I hear some small shuffles from in front of me as it gets a bit closer and then finally stops, “Yea, it’s me” I feel her arms around me as she leans in to give me a big bear hug.

I see a small glimpse of light coming from the right of me, where Archer is now seated, the small amount of light coming from his watch lights up a bit of his face, showing the dirt and sweat mixed into one as his hair falls in front of his eyebrows now looking disheveled.

His look suddenly turns stern and he covers the light illuminating from his watch and looks up quickly.

“We have to go now,” he says strictly and gets up not waiting for anyone to respond to his statement.

“Are you mad” I hear the same voice from earlier that nearly gave me a heart attack asks.

“If you want to stay here without any resources to food, let alone survival of those beasts” he pauses “then you can stay here and anyone else who would like to stay here with Eco then you may, I am not going to force anyone to come with me ” he ends his sentence without a hint of him bluffing.
