Operator: 911, what's your emergency?

Caller: Do you help any who ask it?

Operator: ...We send help to people who need it. Why?

Caller: Define person?

Operator: I guess since you're smart enough to talk and call and reason, you'd qualify. Who is this?

Caller: Well I've seen others calling on this street and thought pr'hps you might send myself some aid as well?

Operator: Meadowlark Lane?

Caller: That appears to be the place.

Operator: You're not… You aren't human, are you.

Caller: I am not.

Operator: *sigh*.... All right sir, what do you need help with?

Caller: Splendid, splendid! Well, the heart of the matter is, I seem to have lost my cap.

Operator: You called an emergency line for a missing hat?

Caller: Ah, that seems trivial, no. If I am not in possession of my cap by sunrise, I shall dissolve into dust.

Operator: Now that makes more sense. Here's what you're going to do. You see the humans in the blue uniforms with the badges? Those are police officers. Talk to them, they will help you.

Caller: Many thanks Miss.

Operator: Oh and one more thing. If the phone you're calling me with doesn't belong to you, please return it.

Caller: But of course! And once more, you have my gratitude. *Click*
