"Noooooooooooo!!!"
Daphne is powerless to resist the salacious soldier, let alone the other soldiers who are also eager to vent their evil desires begin to surround her. After all, she is only a young woman, she has no experience in self-defense, even just running away. All she can do is just wriggle. And scream.
"Mr. Riveeeeerrrrrssss!!!"
She doesn't even understand the reason why she cries out for Stairmount's name. Why does she call for Stairmount? She really doesn't have an idea, why she can do that. This all happens beyond her logic. This all, happens purely by her deepest instinct, since she is too frightened when she was facing death.
Stairmount chokes. Even long before he heard that cry, he had seen it all. Seeing how the soldiers try to ruin Daphne's sanctity, and how they almost manage to fulfill it… but Daphne's screams change everything.
His whole body jolts. It is like a strong electric current has electrocuted his whole body.
Daphne's screams, have awakened something he never thought that it exists within him.
Daphne feels the soldier's grip on her has loosened. In the next second, she watches the soldier who is about to rampage her virginity has fallen onto the ground.
And not just the soldier. The other soldiers who also desire to rape her fall onto the ground as well. Dead.
Daphne's eyes bulge. She is witnessing a scene she never expects that it will become a real thing.
Stairmount is standing right in front of her, his hand is clutching the gun he has hidden all this time and by then he just uses it now. But due to the mask covering his face, Daphne doesn't know that it is her lecturer who has just saved her. She is amazed, and never expects that somebody from the captive squad is willing to save her.
Deftly, Stairmount grabs Daphne's hand, taking her to run away.
"Damn you!!! How come you betray us!!!..." The soldiers have their focus distracted in an instant. Now Stairmount becomes their main target. But Stairmount manages to dodge all of their attacks. He is even able to paralyze many of the enemies. Stairmount himself does not understand the reason why he can become so brilliant in the military. He did join an intensive training in the military academy for one year since he is official personnel of Chrono so that he can gain such that privilege, and even though he works in the medical sector, he masters that skills - but still, he never thought that he can be such skillful. Yet Stairmount has no time to admire his latent ability, after all, he fights alone, while his enemies consist of dozens of soldiers, and they are all well-trained soldiers, different from him who is just an amateur.
If Stairmount is amazed by his dexterity against the enemy, then Daphne feels much more amazed. She witnesses the unknown personnel, he is from the group who is supposed to kill her, but he saves her life instead. And this soldier is so skillful that he can face such a formidable foe only by himself.
"Come on, run! Run!" Meanwhile, the other captives begin to take advantage of this unexpected opportunity to save their own lives. The focus of the troops turns more distracted, they are confused about what they should do first - to finish off this unexpected thorn stuck in the flesh, or to capture the captives who are now busy escaping.
Convinced that his foe has been in disarray, and realizing that he would not be able to win against so many trained troops, Stairmount immediately turns his focus, from fighting to fleeing. He grabs Daphne's hand again. Then, he also approaches Mrs. Yalle. And takes them away in a few seconds.

"Alright. I think we are safe here."
They have arrived at an area near the wide valley. They need to travel a long way to reach this area. They have to pass through the lush forests, and even they are sure that they have reached an area outside the city. Stairmount has managed to snatch a flying car, and with that car, they manage to find this area. Several soldiers have got close to them, but Stairmount manages to finish them off. Therefore, when they arrive at this secluded area, they no longer find even a silhouette of any soldier, he is even very sure that no creature named human knows that such this isolated area exists in this place.

A gust of cold wind hits their bodies. Breaking the awkward silence of this night, Mrs. Yalle asks, "Well, Sir... thank you very much for your help..."
"You are welcome," Stairmount replies shortly.
Daphne can immediately spot the oddity inside the voice of the man who has just saved her life. She is sure, she knows his voice very well, she even often listens to it recently. But, he is part of the enemy? So how can I know him?
"Who... are you?..." At last, Daphne decides to ask him.
Not giving the answer straightaway, Stairmount lets a gust of wind blow hard to fill the silence.
"I am also... very grateful for your help... but I would be even more grateful if you are willing to reveal your identity, Mr. Savior."
It is not that Stairmount is unwilling to answer; he is busy thinking about whether he should reveal his true identity or not. If he follows his conscience, he doesn't want to reveal his identity in certain. The reason? He himself doesn't know the reason. He can't describe it. He then guesses, it is because he hopes that Daphne keeps remembering him as his biomedical lecturer forever. Recalling him as a normal human being, and not as vile personnel who has the heart to kill innocent people for the sake of preserving power. However, if he doesn't reveal his true identity right now, then what will he happen to his future? After this incident, he absolutely becomes the most unacceptable person on this whole Planet.
"Please give us chance to return the favor by telling us about your identity," Daphne utters again.
Stairmount grits his teeth. Then, he slowly removes the mask covering his face, and then, turns his face towards Daphne and her mother who immediately get bewildered in a sudden.
