...and *CRASH*, back to Emerson's we go!
Creator ramble #1: I'm so excited to have reached episode 10 and finally be back to present day in the story! A big ol' THANK YOU to everyone who's kept up with me so far :)
Creator ramble #2: Not gonna lie, since it's been ~2 months since I first drew the present day episodes at the beginning, I had to re-teach myself how to draw the characters *heh*. Particularly Caleb... I was never really happy with his hair in the beginning, so I definitely changed it up a bit haha sorry for the inconsistency!
Creator ramble #3: I updated the cover page! Hope you like it :) I also decided to change the main genre of the series from BL to LGBTQ+, for selfish reasons and not-so-selfish reasons. Selfish reason - I'm hoping to get more visibility in the LGBTQ+ area than I do currently in the BL area. So sue me. Not-so-selfish reason - as the story progresses, and we start to learn more about the other characters, we'll see that this isn't simply a love story between two men, but also a peek into the lives and loves of people with different gender identities and sexualities. I feel like the LGBTQ+ genre better encompasses what I wanted to portray. That said, I still marked the cover page as BL, since it's sorta both.
Creator ramble #4: I've been thinking of starting some form of social media to promote the series, and my first thought was Twitter. But there's a few issues with that - first, I never really got into Twitter to begin with, even for personal use, so I wouldn't really know where to start; second, Twitter is an absolute crapshow right now haha, so that's definitely a no. SO. I'm most likely gonna start posting more stuff on my old Tumblr page. I've been using it more and more over the past year, but there seems to be a Tumblr renaissance going on right now, so hey why not take advantage?!
