The next day was Greer and Dewi time. She was looking forward to it. She was even debating what to do. She had some money and she needed to pick up a laptop.... so there was the thought of taking Dewi by the Disney store and letting him pick out something fun.
"Ready to go, Princess?" Dewi was wearing a short, red plaid dress with black leggings and a tan jacket.
Greer looked and blinked. "I... think this is the first time we've gone out like this..." I was never straight, was I?
Dewi bites his lip slightly. "Is it too much? Maybe I should change..."
"No! I mean... no really it's good... cool... very cool..." It would only take a moment or two of clarity for Dewi to notice she was looking at him the same as when they first started dating and before. The this-person-is-pretty-hot-but-I-don't-know-what-to-say look.
"Well, if you think it's okay, then there's no reason for me to delay our date..."
Greer nodded, walking out with Dewi. It really was their first date all over again. "You... you look really good... I um... shopping. I was thinking shopping."
"You spoil me, Princess... I know you don't particularly like shopping."
"I need to get a laptop anyway so I was gonna hit the mall... and I thought maybe I'd take you to the disney store... I have some extra money this month so I thought I could get you something Disney maybe?" She sounded a little unsure.
He suddenly pulls her into a hug. "Okay, but on one condition. We do something you like on our next date, okay?"
"My dates are boring tho.... but ok." She hugged back, smiling.
"I don't know how anything could be boring if it's with you."
"Taxes."
Dewi laughs. "Okay, I amend my statement. I don't know how anything you enjoy could be boring if I'm doing it with you..."
"Well we do both like nature. Dunno if you'd wanna come hunting tho. Hmm... working out? I know you like the results though." She smiled, making a muscle.
"All three of us should try working out together... Maybe a little jogging with Blake in the lead so we can both properly appreciate his cute butt...?"
Greer blushed a bit. "Yeah.... that could be nice. But I'd just feel better if he was working out for his health."
"We'll be working out for our health, we're just discussing the additional benefits right now... like the sculpture worthy abs he's going to have in the future..." Dewi has a look between sheepish and mischievous. "My first meeting of Cronos might have been me accidentally walking in on him naked. It was before Blake and I started dating..."
"....Well now I don't feel bad about 15 year old him having a sorta breakfast date with me now. Apparently there was a crush situation."
"I'm not surprised. As soon as he knew I was interested in you, he was all on board with it from the beginning..."
"It's weird sometimes though... how easy this is... I'm dreading the day you guys see my full temper. Cause... I dunno. It might be too much."
"And when that day comes and it isn't too much? Will you finally believe we can handle anything you throw at us?"
"Probably not. Kinda fucked up like that." She leaned on him a bit as they walked. "I'm just trying to enjoy the now"
"Sounds like a great plan."
Once they got to the mall and she headed to electronics first. “We can do clothes after promise I just want this out of the way first ok?”
"Of course, Princess. It's the point of coming to the mall so best to do it first."
She went and got it, smiling a bit. “It’s gonna be nice having my own laptop...”
Dewi looks at her purchase and realizes something. "Are you planning on carrying it around during the rest of our date? It would be pretty bad if something accidentally happens to it before you can even set it up..."
"I mean, I was thinking it, it's not that heavy"
"I have a shopping bag you can use... It's not about how heavy it is. A laptop isn't exactly cheap and there's no telling what can happen if you're carrying it around the whole time... It could get damaged due to an unforeseen mishap or someone could try to steal it."
"Lemme guess, one of the special shopping bags huh?"
"Yep. I can fit a whole King sized bed with plenty of room if the opening is big enough... so, it's usually big enough for even my more serious shopping trips..."
She chuckled. "Fine... I'll put it in there. For the record I can carry a lot. I look like the person in the movies going with their SO and carrying all their stuff." She smiled and handed it over.
"If you want, I'll let you carry all my bags any time you want.... Just think we should be careful with the delicate electronic device you saved up your own money to buy."
"Fair enough." She gave Dewi a squeeze. "My Sweet D."
"So where to next, My Lovely Princess?"
"Well Ma said some new pallets came in and I know you've been wanting to look at the new colors to match with your designs... I can go in if you want?"
"Really? You know I'm practically useless with those kinds of things so it would be really helpful to have someone who actually knows something about makeup..."
"Sure thing." She smiled. Greer held his hand and went with him to the shop. "Guess my part time work at ma's is helpful."
"Well, as much as you seem to hate it, you have an amazing eye for these kinds of things..."
"I know it drives Ma mad. She said if Dad wasn't around maybe I'd be a makeup artist. Prom season? We had people coming from the next city over to have me do their wings and acrylics." She went in and started looking at pallets and things. At one point she put on some dark green lipstick, chuckling. She went over to Dewi. "well hero... can you handle the wicked witch of the woods! One kiss and you shall DIE"
"For a kiss from such a radiant being, it is a sacrifice I am willing to make... I only ask for you to be merciful enough for it to be on the lips so I may tell the angels that I have kissed one of their own..."
Greer blushed a bit and gave him a kiss on the lips, enjoying it a moment and.... then paused. She pulled back, looking at her hand and then gave him another kiss, very quickly. "What..."
"Something wrong, Princess?" Dewi was a bit worried but she seemed more confused than panicked. Plus giving him a second kiss didn't seem like something she'd do if she was panicking... right?
She gave him one more kiss fast and. .. ".....I didn't switch."
"Oh..." Dewi thinks for a moment. "... It wasn't skin contact..." He softly touches her green lips with his bare hand. "The makeup must act as a barrier so it isn't direct contact and your power doesn't activate..."
She looked at his fingers for a moment. ".....ok I'm getting makeup today. You should tell Ma you did it. You will get all the good future son in law points."
"I'm sure I'll eventually really need those points... We should figure out how to get Blake some too..."
"Blake is stupidly smooth. How many points will he need? In order of needing points with Ma it goes me, then you and then maybe never Blake. Tho you are pretty smooth with Ma too." She smiled as she quickly started picking out several kinds. "Blake is gonna think I got brainwashed when we get home...."
"Or we're stocking up for a rainbow party...."
"....if you let him think that I am taking your closet tailsment and hiding it."
"Duly noted. Blake knows we wouldn't do something like that anyways... At least not unless we all agreed beforehand that it was something we wanted to do. Which, based on your reaction, it's definitely not..."
She played with a lipstick. "It's... really intimate... I haven't even... ya know... done a sexy thing yet... I just... wanna take my time is all..."
"And that's one of the reasons it wouldn't even cross Blake's mind that you suddenly buying a bunch of lipstick would be for anything even remotely like that...." Dewi puts his glove back on and takes the lipstick Greer is fidgeting with, replacing it with his own hand. "Of course, we could use that to our advantage... Not a rainbow party, obviously, but we could surprise him with a tamer version. Only if you're interested, of course… You be red, I'll be blue and we can turn our boyfriend's face purple, if you get what I'm saying...."
Greer blushed. "We... can plan and see if I can keep from chickening out... that ok? I'm not future-me confident yet." She looked like she really wanted to try.
"Of course, Princess. There's no problem with putting it off if you end up not feeling up to it at the time..." He emphasizes his words with a quick stolen kiss.
She blushed. "I'm getting foundation. Maybe that'll help too...." She finished getting everything and paid for it, putting this in her backpack. "Ok and you got your things and... time for wherever you wanna go next. Clothes or straight to Disney?"
"Let's do Disney. It's more likely to be fun for you too..."
"Alright." She walked with him, smiling. This date honestly was going amazingly well. She had time with Dewi, they had a surprise for Blake, she could more easily kiss Dewi in public...
When they got back Greer looked at Dewi. Was he... she... she forgot to ask about pronouns... tired of being female? Wanting to be female longer? She looked at Dewi. "Um... mabe stupid question but um... are... you going to be a girl for a while longer?"
"Haven't decided. Why do you ask?"
"I um... I was wondering um... see... I never thought a girl was... you know...." She rubbed her hair a bit. "Can... we... have a romantic cuddle... with you... like this?"
Dewi smiles brightly. "As you wish, my Princess... I would love some cuddle time with you, Greer."
She nodded and let the cuddling commence.
