Four college students form a book club to discuss their favorite mystery novels, only to find that two weeks later, one of the four was found dead from a drug overdose in a classroom. The mysterious circumstances surrounding the death lead the remaining three to try to investigate—and when their curiosity takes them a bit too far, they're noticed and recruited by an amateur detective agency trying to solve some large-scale crime that the regular police force, strangely enough, won't even touch.
