Sorry it took so long. Trying my best to make page nice. But I feel like I'm losing readers, not sure what I'm doing wrong. The more work I put into it, the less people are interested. Sheesh. Author butthurted
I have in my long life (I'm 74 and a craftsman) learned that it is of the utmost importance not to care about the reception of your work. I spent long years living in near misery, and the paradox is that I started living with a free mind when I stopped caring for the reception of my work; just sticking to what one of my masters had told me: "What deserves to be done deserves to be done well"
Free giving is the key to receiving. The Universe seems to like generosity. But that generosity has to go both to you and to your work, just as well as to your readers.
Sorry if I may sound a bit like a preacher.
After gods destroyed this world, they left gems from their bodies that gave those who survived huge powers. After many years, the survivors split into two main groups - healers and fighters. In a world where anybody can become anything, no one can trust anyone, except those who are bonded together, depending on each other for their lives.
