My take on them? Jerks who clearly think that the world revolves around them and their viewpoint of things. Empathy took a backseat to what they deem higher priority (winning games) and the fact they their style of 'break them to build them' didn’t work with Alina is seen as a failure on Alina's part instead of the failure due to inflexibility and lack of understanding of variable psychology that it likely was on Svetlana's.
In short, they're bullies obsessed with winning and being right, and they aren't worth the time of day.
Scratch should be able to gel with her teammates and figure out her own strategies in HER own way. Different teams mean different approaches have to be adjusted to because obviously teams aren't homogeneous. It's unlikely Svet's 'advice' will work outside of a very generalized gameplan anyway, and even THAT would need refining and practice since her plan was made with a completely different team in mind to support her. Again, it is a failure to look beyond herself. Svetlana had the problem then, and clearly still has it now.
