"unfiltered bearings" stars Ang, a socially awkward introverted brown bear who navigates a neurotypical world.
As someone on the spectrum, I find myself in situations where I’m unaware of how my thoughts, words, and actions are inappropriate. Therefore, this comic showcases me just tryna get by in a mundane manner, personified as a bear because I’m fond of animals. It also serves as an outlet to unmask, because I mask so much to the point of mental deterioration in the real world.
My series will not only have comics, but it will also have monologues/intermissions.
This is a project for my Advanced Media Arts class and my first time creating comics, so please be kind >< I appreciate your feedback and support.
