This comic was a college project from a few months go.
It deals with themes of hereditary , self image, and projection. It also shows that our past always comes to haunt us in one way or another, whether it is through our loved ones or our own habits.
In this Tuleo, Lindell, and Dacha complete an order for nobility a little ways away, only to find that the troubles in the family are more layered than the dress then want. The house of Mulberry is as horrid as it is enticing , its aging walls crumbling as much as the family’s foundation. Hopefully our tailors can make it out in one piece.
“Dysmorphia: deformity or abnormality in the shape or size of a specified part of the body.” “Dismorphia: A genus of butterfly, notably the white tiger mimic.” A simple change of one letter brings about a completely different meaning. Two sisters of the Mulberry household , one hidden away , outwardly scarred yet unbothered. The other , always presented , is damaged in places only she can see. The family line is withering way like a slowly rotting tree. Some say its an old family curse that has plagued the house for the last three centuries, others say its merely unfortunate circumstances. Still, there are high hopes for the upcoming wedding for one of the sisters. Even if there isn't a joyful face in sight, as noted by a foreign Tailor named Tuleo. Come along as he is invited to the manor to finalize the bride's gown. (Since as the last tailor ranoff before its completion.) Heand his companions work to complete their commission , but the more he works on it, the more disturbing things he notices.
