Dragon's Earth: the true tale of the past and the beginning.

My family

My family

Dec 10, 2022

After everyone left saying their goodbyes and giving hugs I was left all alone on my planet. I smiled softly rubbing my egg pouch.
“ Soon you’ll see this beautiful world and all the beautiful creatures that are waiting for you to arrive. “ I spoke lovingly
Giving a soft shake of my long body I took to the skies. Soaring to the nearest volcano I carefully landed as to not break the cauldron of fiery liquid. I was careful with my weight and claws as I could possibly cause a landslide and release the lava all over the beautiful forest below. I smiled as smoke rose from my mouth and nostrils. This would be a perfect place for my eggs of fire. Turning around slowly I slid tail first into the warm lava. I purred softly letting the blazing heat warm up my star dusted pink scales. The lava boiled and bubbled as I laid there half submerged. Soon I heard the soft sound of chirping. Looking down I beamed with delight. There in the lava forming right before my eyes where my children of fire. Some had lava flowing through their skin and hardened into solid rock. Some had rough scales that soaked in the lava. I smiled as I witnessed different kinds of dragonlings appear before my eyes. I stayed in the lava bath for five hundred years shedding all my star dusted scales to mix into the lava. Once I was done I went around my planet to different places with different elements and placed dragonlings from all types of elements available on my planet. Most being of fire, water, earth, wind, light, dark to name a few. I was content and happy my children played with one another and all the other creatures placed around as well everything was happy and healthy. Growing tired I smiled sleepily before fading away from the planet returning to my star Solair. I was truly happy with how everything turned out and how happy my children were now that they have a planet to call home. The seed bloomed wonderfully I even saw a few of the creatures roaming around for those five hundred years. But now for me it was time to rest, I'll go visit later after getting my powers back.
Spending time on my planet brought me such joy even if I was shedding my scales for most of the time but it was to make my children. But not only was I shedding my scales I gave my blood, my bones, my claws, my teeth, even my sweat, and tears using everything I had with the magic in that form to make my children so they could grow healthy and happy. I drifted soon to sleep still smiling as I thought about all the activities that would happen while I slept. I wondered if the creatures gifted to me would build cities or empires. Would they have fun playing with my children? Hopefully they would, I just want everyone to be happy in my first system.

But little did I know my wish would be broken to pieces many many years later.

Gods. What is a god to you? Someone with power to mold and create? Someone with powers to heal? To destroy? To love? Yes that is what you might think a god is.
I'm a god, a dragon goddess to be precise. My name, well it's Bone. I set out on a journey to find a home, a planet made by myself, molded with my own powers. Even with the help of other gods this home of mine would belong to my children and their kin.
As a gift to me for creating a beautiful and wonderful home, my mother, a goddess above all gods, blessed me with a gift. A seed of different intelligent creatures.
Yet a specific species called humans truly intrigued me. They taught me things about their cultures. They welcomed me into their home. They gave me love and happy memories. They took from me, asking and begging for me to give them whatever they desired. I did, I thought that's what you'd do to something you loved.
No!
It's not. That wasn't love. It was a mistake. An accursed mistake that cost me everything I held dear to me. My home, my children, even my own body. All taken from me. I will make them pay for what they did. What they became. War will wage and in the end…
I Will Be Victorious.
I Will Be What Remains.
I WILL BURN THEM ALL!

Please enjoy my novel, feedback is always welcomed. This is a slow burn to romance novel. The chapters will express the growing friendships of two friends and a family. Writing is not easy for me so editing will take place for all chapters that have been posted and chapters yet to be posted.
