Dragon's Earth: the true tale of the past and the beginning.

A new home

A new home

Nov 13, 2022

Space is a vast existence that holds a multitude of mysteries. But deep in that place called space are beings who control everything. Gods; as humans and other creatures call us. Beings with powers to mold and create, protect and destroy. I am one of those kinds of gods. I’m a dragon and the goddess of all dragon kind. I’m on a quest to find a perfect new home for my children to live comfortably in. I shall make a home in a small part of this vast space. A galaxy to call my own with the help of mother god I can have my own system to watch over and govern as I see fit. I watch mother god carefully as she gives me a small disk of an unclaimed galaxy. The galaxy spun in my claws slowly shining a soft milky white with soft faint shades of purples, pinks, blues, reds and yellows.

" It's so milky looking " I spoke softly with awe. A soft blush painted my star pink snout a tender violet. I trembled with excitement wanting to start creating my new home.

" Then it shall be named Milky way." Mother god smiled kindly at me, her warm gaze brimming with satisfaction and content.

I smile happy at the name. My own galaxy, a home for my children. I breathe out a puff of smoke that dances around my snout. My pink starry scales twinkled in the light of Mother gods’ necklace of universes. The rush of adventure now awaited me as I gazed upon my new home. I looked to mother god and bowed my head. Raised from a dying star that was my egg to the fully grown dragon I am, mother god was always there for me. Now it is my turn to be there for my children and their descendants.

" I shall raise my children as you have raised me mother." I smiled softly my eyes glowing with heartfelt love and respect

Mother god chuckled at my remark and nodded

" Raise them well my child I know you can. Now find a perfect spot to place your galaxy I will gift you a seed soon I just need to finish it up but it should be done by the time you are done making a home for your children " mother god smiled softly

I nodded my head then turned and looked around the vastness of space around me. I knew where to place my new home but getting there would be a long journey.

" I want to be near Quincy because their galaxy is as big as mine and we always visit each other. " I smiled excitedly

Mother god nodded

" The journey will be long but have fun with your travels and say hi to the others on your way my little Nebula " she spoke tenderly as her hands began to glow with many stars dying and rebirthing around it.

I nodded softly. I was going to miss her so much but it was now my turn to be a mother to a multitude of many but a goddess above all. Soon, departing on my journey to find a new home to call my own, I stopped by many different galaxies of other gods and their worlds full of different creatures who worship them. Soaring through the vastness of space was truly exhilarating. Unlike some I'm one of a few gods who do not need to be worshiped to exist. That is how many gods are born and die. We gods also tend to not interfere with our worlds. We create them for experiments or pleasure. Most gods only make a sport of their worlds betting on which of their creatures they enjoy either messing with or blessing. But I want to interact with my world to show my children what it's like to be loved and cared for. I want them to grow happy and healthy just like I have.

The journey took awhile; the longest ten thousand years for me to finally make it to where I wanted to call home. Seeing the empty void of space for my galaxy to be placed I smiled huffing smoke from my mouth letting it dance around me like stardust. I held out my galaxy in my claw and then spoke the language of dragon tongue enchanting my galaxy to grow into a size to dwarf my own. Soon it swirled around me, spinning swiftly and colorfully as it expanded from its miniature size. Now before me slowly spun my galaxy ginormous in its true size. It completely dwarfed me. I realized it was truly perfect, making me very content and confident. I could make lots of planets and stars that could be homes for my children and even have other gods come to place creatures of their own making onto my planets. I smiled before bracing myself into a much more tiny size so I could take a look at what my new galaxy had in store.

Flying around I saw many black holes, constellations, nebulas, small stars, dwarf stars, and all the works that one would find in a galaxy now I needed to make a system that had many planets where some could have life. Looking around my galaxy I came to realize that there were not a lot of ideal places to make a system. I was able to make some starter systems but making more than the twelve I had around my galaxy was very unlikely. I sighed defeated with all the results I had and just stuck with the twelve I was able to mark. I flew to the first system spot I marked and with a mighty breath into my flame chambers I blew out a show of sparks and fire shots onto an asteroid . The flaming light show sparked and grew hotter the longer I breathed out the star roaring and exploding with a bubbling cauldron fit as the gasses heated up. Soon growing in size I made my first star. This would be my home away from the planets

" I name you Solair!" I smiled proudly looking at my first creation

I then flew around collecting broken asteroids, space rocks, and space dust forming many planets for my first system; encircling them around my star. I was able to make seven planets in total. The one closest to Solair was called Besut, the second planet called Faitu, the third one Primus, this was where my children would live. It was a safe distance from Solair, but not too far that it would be too inhabitable. The fourth planet; my second habitable planet was named Glenti, my fifth is called Sirus, my sixth called Titan, and my seventh called pluton.

Gods. What is a god to you? Someone with power to mold and create? Someone with powers to heal? To destroy? To love? Yes that is what you might think a god is.
I'm a god, a dragon goddess to be precise. My name, well it's Bone. I set out on a journey to find a home, a planet made by myself, molded with my own powers. Even with the help of other gods this home of mine would belong to my children and their kin.
As a gift to me for creating a beautiful and wonderful home, my mother, a goddess above all gods, blessed me with a gift. A seed of different intelligent creatures.
Yet a specific species called humans truly intrigued me. They taught me things about their cultures. They welcomed me into their home. They gave me love and happy memories. They took from me, asking and begging for me to give them whatever they desired. I did, I thought that's what you'd do to something you loved.
No!
It's not. That wasn't love. It was a mistake. An accursed mistake that cost me everything I held dear to me. My home, my children, even my own body. All taken from me. I will make them pay for what they did. What they became. War will wage and in the end…
I Will Be Victorious.
I Will Be What Remains.
I WILL BURN THEM ALL!

Please enjoy my novel, feedback is always welcomed. This is a slow burn to romance novel. The chapters will express the growing friendships of two friends and a family. Writing is not easy for me so editing will take place for all chapters that have been posted and chapters yet to be posted.
