Hello, police? I've witnessed a murder.
So, if you spare Loghain in DAO, kill Anders in DA2, and then ask Hawke about Anders in DAI... Hawke stands next to Loghain and just... indirectly verbally annihilates the man. I only wish that Bioware had included him awkwardly clearing his throat at that point.

I imagine that Loghain regularly deals with people doing this to him. He's just at the Grey Warden HQ and the other wardens are off-handedly mentioning it.
Loghain: "I know I messed up! Stop bringing up my past!"
Wardens: "What are you talking about Loghain? We're just talking about stupid people in history that tried stopping wardens from ending a blight. Silly!"
