“The One” by the Gods, it is all-powerful and all-knowing and exists outside of the known universe. Little information is currently unavailable but research is still undergoing.

[THE ANCIENTS] -The Proprietors of the Universe

The creations of The One are the personifications of concepts, elements, and emotions. Currently, there are twenty-two major Ancients also known as True Ancients, and many minor Ancients which are Ancients created by the True Ancients instead of The One. Similar to the One, the Ancients are all omnipotent and omniscient immortals., but instead of acting like deities, they perform various functions that keep known reality performing as it should. Or they originally were supposed to, they mostly spend their time playing around and pulling pranks on mortals.

It should be noted that the Ancients are older than the gods, angels, fae, and other supernatural entities. There is a rumor that states it was the Ancients themselves that created these beings.

Each Ancient dwells in the dimension of their creation, which is unacceptable by traditional means. The only way to go to one of their domains is if the Ancient themselves allow you to go inside or if you are one of their Servants.

[UNIVERSE ONE]-Genesis

The original, primordial universe was created by The One after the creation of the Ancients. There were no life forms that existed in this universe, only the Ancients lived there. One theory that persists is that the Ancients created lifeforms that are similar to the gods and ruled over them as lords.

[ENDLESS AND ETERNALS]-The Immortal Clans

Sometime in the far-flung past, The True Ancients created twins that would continue to perform their functions in their stead. Not because they needed the help, it was out of pure laziness. The twins would split among themselves to form two clans: The Endless and the Eternals. While the two clans would share the responsibilities of the Originals they would also perform distinctive roles. 

The Eternals would create new universes, while the Endless would destroy the old. This cycle of a universe's birth and death would be known as a Universe Cycle, which would last one trillion years.

Similar to the Originals, they too grew tired of this and soon would spawn more Ancients to pass the buck to.

[AVATARS]-The Living Embodiments of the Ancients

The Avatars were created when the Eternals and Endless grew tired of performing their functions after one billion universe cycles. A universe cycle is the creation and destruction of one universe.

What separates Avatars from the Ancients is that the former have one distinguished shape and form, while the latter doesn’t. 

There are two-hundred and twenty Avatars of the Endless and Eternals and one-hundred and ten Avatars of the True Ancients. The Avatars of the Endless and Eternals have distinctive features, Avatars of the Endless have Silver Eyes; while Avatars of the Eternals possess Golden Eyes.

It was due to the Avatars that the gods were created. Some performed the miracle with a partner, while others did it alone. Gods created from the Avatars are more powerful than those who were not.

[EMANATIONS]-Echoes of the Avatars

When Avatars interact with the mortal realm, they often create and send Emanations in their stead. They are not long-lived as the Avatars, as they only live as long as that particular universe still exists, thus their other name Echoes.

Still, there are ways for the Echoes to be true immortals, they can attach their Conceptual Strings to an Avatar that can extend their life eternally.

[HEARTS]-Little Sisters to the Avatars

The Hearts or Little Sisters, are the fourth generation of Ancients. All of them take the form of female humanoids and interact the most with mortals.

[MOTHERS]-The First Servants

Mothers are the first Servants to be created by the Avatars and are vital for the Universe Cycle. The Mothers of the Eternals create universes; while the Mothers of the Endless have created Servants that assist them in destroying universes. The Mothers are deities given the name due to them being able to birth numerous monster offspring. 

When the end of a universe's life nears its end, a Mother of the Endless is deployed and sends out a Universe Seed. The Universe Seed floats in space until it lands on a planet, where it will grow in a Universe Sapling. The Sapling absorbs the natural energy of the planet, as well as the energy of the life living on its surface to grow into a World Tree.

The Universe tree grows fruit on its branches called Divine Fruits and if somebody eats the fruit will gain supernatural powers. Also, the World Tree itself is a monster that can single-handedly wipe out all life on a planet but mostly acts as a beacon that will call out to its “mother”.

Once the Mother comes, she will spawn an army o powerful monsters that will attack all life forms in that universe, until an Avatar comes to destroy it.

The Eternal Mothers only create universes for their masters.

[MONARCHS]-Spirits of the World

In response to World Trees growing on a planet’s surface and absorbing their life energy (called Aether), the planets spawned Avatars to combat the World Trees. They are similar to the Ancients as they are personifications of a planet but they do not possess the same power as an Ancients.

One can say that they are the Perfect Lifeforms on their respective planet that even the gods cannot interfere with them.

[MASTERS]-The Ultimate Weapons

These powerful creatures were created by the Monarchs to destroy the World Tree and those who have eaten the Divine Fruit. Masters are giant monsters capable of sinking entire continents in a matter of seconds.

If the destruction of a planet is imminent, then the final Master would spawn and absorb the remaining Aether of the planet and abandon it, leaving it to its fate as an empty husk. 

[UNKNOWN] The Ultimate Life Forms

After the destruction of the universe, the Ancients will gather all of the souls of the collective life forms that existed and combine them into a singular being. After the birth of this Ultimate Lifeform, it goes on to live in the new universe.

They are dubbed the Ultimate Lifeform due to possessing the powers of every living creature in the universe. There can only be one Ultimate Lifeform that can exist in a universe, though there have been many exceptions to the rules.

[HERALDS]-Harbingers of the Ancients. 

The second most powerful of Servants who serve the Ancient, they are responsible for warning universes marked for destruction. A Herald's other function is to assist their Masters in performing their cosmic duties. To become a Herald, an individual must first receive a Concept Cube (mostly through the machinations of the Ancient Destiny) and second make sacrifices.

Sacrifices must be those of the living and must number in the high hundreds. The souls of the sacrifices are mixed in with the power of the Ancients, thus giving the Heralds unlimited source power. Due to their connections to their Masters, the Heralds are immortal beings that can even survive the Universe Cycle and live in the new one.

[CONCEPT CUBE]-The Keys of Power

Concept Cubes are tools that connect the Physical World to the Imaginary Space. They are primarily used by the Ancients to create Heralds. Their creations are currently unknown and they look like golden cubes with silver lining decorated throughout the surface.

[IMAGINARY SPACE]-A Space Outside of Reality

Is a realm that exists independently from the known universe, where the laws are completely different. The Ancients use this to hold meetings, frolic, and play, and Mothers live here as well as their Eldritch offspring. A small town neighborhood had somehow been transported to the Imaginary Space, and thus was called the Neighborhood. The True Ancients have taken up residence here instead of their domain.

The Neighborhood is an endless suburb where the residents are tormented by Elder Gods and the Ancients alike. The residents have become immortal due to the effects that the Imaginary Space had on their bodies, and others and gained superpowers. But since they cannot leave, it is a moot point.

Now and again, folks would vanish into thin air, only for them to appear inside the Neighborhood. Each generation of residents is stronger than the old ones.

[ACOLYTES]-Knights of the Ancients

The most common form of Servants, an Acolyte, is formed when an Avatar places one of their Emanations inside of a mortal body, acting as their vessel. Acolytes can only access a small fraction of the Avatar’s power, but they are still powerful beings.

They are semi-immortal as they can die, but they would return to life an hour later. An Acolyte can also survive a Universe Cycle, but they would fall under status and be placed in the Ancients domain until a new Universe is formed. The longer an Acolyte lives, the stronger they become. They also possess the ability to easily manipulate all forms of energy, making capable fighters for their cause.

True Ancients can also create Acolytes, which are stronger than average ones and they are called Supreme Acolytes. Instead of an Emanation, they are vessels to Avatars, they are fewer of them than the common Acolyte.

Prototype Acolytes have Elder Gods placed inside of them instead of Emanations and therefore the weakest version of an Acolyte.

[ENVOY]-Groverling Subordinates

Envoys are Servants that serve and are created by Heralds and Acolytes. They are created through various methods, but sharing one life force seems to be the most popular. Unlike tier Masters, an Envoy cannot survive a Universe Cycle and can be killed. The only way for them to be revived is if their Masters go out of their way to revive their Envoys.
