Lots of curiosities. I could highlight it all, but I'm gonna let you tell me what you've noticed. Partly because I want to see what people think. And partly because I'm too distracted this morning to write a long blurb! XD
What I will highlight is panel 2. I've never learned to read or write in Japanese. I researched it a little and asked for help with Chiaki's signature here, though, so hopefully it's right. I swear, an unintended (but welcome) side effect of writing this comic, is that it may actually force me to finally learn the language like I've been wanting to do for like twenty years... ^^;
EDIT: I probably should've addressed the other thing in panel 2 - this world's language. Don't think too hard about it. I actually wrote that text in English, and switched the font to a runic one. So technically, it can be translated. (If you're curious, it just says "By signing this form, you are agreeing to be released to the present party despite not being related to them by blood. If this is your intention, please sign your full name on the line near the X to confirm.")
There's no deep significance to the font itself, specifically, I just figured writing in straight English would kill the immersion a little. XD
Follows the strange story of Chiaki, a daydreaming otaku who longs to confess her feelings to her childhood friend, Fumiko, and how that's made especially difficult when she gets transported to another world...
