Nothing creates existential panic quite like missing tools. In the aviation world, product, and tool accountability reign absolutely. To lose even but one tool or component/part could lead to disastrous consequences (like being sucked into an engine or getting caught in flight controls)! In an effort to eliminate missing tools and foreign object damage, tool and product accountability is accomplished at set intervals throughout a work shift.
