Worked slightly hard to get this one done so soon, but I did it! And I'm still disappointed with how the Water starter in this generation went! (But not as disappointed at how I potrayed the one in this comic. Actually proud of that one in fact!)

Interesting premise! The artwork and anatomy feel a bit clunky, and the fight scenes feel static. Also, some of the dialogue between characters felt awkward. From a story standpoint, I personally found it hard to follow. However, I don't play Pokémon so I can't give a full review lol. Overall good work!

After a senior asian combat mentor saw his hometown blow up, he decides to move to a place he had in mind… not realizing he accidentally signed up for an academy that sets him and a bunch of other battlers in a quest to make a ‘wish’ that only happens every gazillion years. And you need to be the strongest (and also the most entertaining) team in the region in order to get noticed, and win the academy’s trust to gain respect.
So will this random combat mentor and his weird team of recruits manage to defeat every major boss in the region, including some who are actually evil and want to kill them? And most importantly, what do they want to wish for if they end up winning this whole thing?
