I ran to my house as fast as I could. Luckily, Mom had just finished serving her last customer ice cream. *Phew* not late. "Hey, sweetie. ready for some chicken!?"
~~~
As we were leaving our house, I noticed a strange figure moving around the tree in the backyard. almost...seethrough? "Coming sweetie?" Mom asked. "uh, yeah." I looked back and the figure was gone. Guess it was my imagination. Hmm.
~~~
We arrived at the mall, and I instantly smelled my favorite restaurant! Well, one of 'em. As we sat down, again I saw another seethrough figure, it looks like....a GHOST???!!! "Sweetie?" Mom said as she moved her hand up and down in front of my eyes. "Oh. Sorry, I zoned out a bit, there." "Sure you're ok? Looks like you just saw a ghost!" She laughed a little. Yeah, I think I saw one, literally
~~~
As we were leaving, I saw Savannah on the other side of the mall. She looked up from her phone and saw me too. "Maddie!" She yelled. I told my mom I'd meet her outside. " Maddie, I'm throwing a back to school party in a few days and I wanted to invite you!"She said excitedly. "Sure, I'll come." "Could Montana come too? Shes new 'round here so she may be able to make new friends." I asked. She rolled her eyes. I can tell she doesnt like her. "Fine."She groand. "As long as you make sure she dresses better." "Deal." I said.
