Mixed is a collection of short stories revolving around a single family made up of many religions, cultures, identities, and personalities. Each individual has their own issues they have to face, but whether it be anxiety, self harm, abandonment, assault, or just the pains of growing up, they are all there for one another, no matter what.

The first story revolves around the relationship between Motema, and Jade. As they both deal with their own individual problems, they also face their relationship changing in ways they hoped it wouldn’t.
