The large escalator that Connor is on slowly brings him down to the hell of this world, the guard standing with him is staring at him strangely to which Connor asks “Why are you staring at me like that?” The guard then replies “I feel like I’ve seen you before, where are you from?” Connor, reluctant to answer, states “I’m from the Grand Fifth, I was brought here for some reason.” “Huh, well that’s strange. Normally they only bring criminals or wrong doers down here. Did you do something wrong?” The Guard responds with. They both go silent as they are almost at the bottom of the escalator. Connor moves off the escalator and starts walking towards the group of workers that seem to have been beaten up and left on the ground with bruises and cuts all over their bodies. Connor looks over at a group of bigger workers that are to his left, there are eight guys who are shirtless with more muscles than a shaved gorilla with cuts all up their chest, they are laughing as Connor looks over at them and start talking amongst themselves as Connor keeps staring at them. They all look away from Connor thinking that he is nothing more than a skinny sixteen year old kid, one of the men looks back over at where Connor is and his face turns from cheerful and happy to shock in an instant. The other men look at their friend in shock and start to question him on what's wrong. He can’t get out a word before Connor appears behind the man in fear and taps him on the shoulder, they all slowly turn towards Connor shocked to see that he has suddenly appeared behind them before they could realise. The biggest guy in the group throws a punch at Connor hitting him square in the side of the head, the speed at which the punch was thrown picks up the dirt all around them making a big dust storm as soon as the man had made impact with Connor’s head. Nobody being able to see what had happen assume that Connor went flying and is now on the ground, the dust settles and all the men in the groups face dorp when they see that Connor, this short skinny kid had caught the punch of this strongest man in this entire complex and is now overpowering him and is now forcing him to his knee. The man starts screaming pain as the others start to run away in fear of being killed by Connor. Connor looks down at the man on his knee and starts to question him, saying “What is this place?” to which the man responds in pain “It’s a complex that the unfortunate get thrown into and are forced to work for the rich until we can’t anymore.” Connor responds “Then why did you beat up those guys if you know that they are in the same situation that you are in?” “I didn’t.” The man replies with, as soon as Connor looks around he sees the people who were on the ground and sees that they all were faking it and are now surrounding him.
“You look so dumb” one of the men from the group say as they surround him. They all start to laugh at Connor calling him “weak” and “a loser” and “stupid”. As the men are making fun of Connor a bright green light starts to shine from Connor’s chest, the men confused on what is happening start to worry a little about what is about to happen. The light coming from his chest starts to go brighter and brighter to the point where it is as bright as looking directly at the sun, the group of men become partially blind at the sight of the light. They try to hide away from the light of Connor but it becomes that bright that they can’t escape the light. They all fall to the ground in the severe pain of their retinas burning out, the pain is unbearable they all start to scream out praying for a saviour of some kind to put them out of their misery. Connor quickly knocks all the men out in one quick stomp on the floor sending the shockwaves towards their bodies making them become unconscious from the powerful shockwaves that went straight to their brains.
Connor walks away from the dent in the ground that he had made with the power of the mark on his chest. Connor closes his eyes and instantly he starts feeling shivers down his spine, as if someone was behind him touching his spine. Connor starts to feel the shiver move towards his chest, and the creeping pain starts to become more apparent over time as the shivers start to turn into the feeling of a knife going through Connor’s chest. Connor opens his eyes and looks down to see a knife that has gone straight through his mark, the light of the mark starts to fade. Connor falls to his knees with blood dripping down into his hands, Connor smiles as his eyes shut and he falls to the ground with his face in the dirt. His heart stops beating and he can no longer open his eyes, a pool of blood now being formed around his body.
The room is dark, Connor’s eyes open to see the dark figure standing in front of him with a disappointed look on its face. Connor, confused, tries to talk to the figure saying “What’s with the look?” The figure looks down at Connor and says “You gave up.” Connor looks down at his hands and tries to come up with something to tell the figure but only one thing was going through his head, he asked the figure “What are you?” The figure is even more disappointed but with a small smile on its face says “I am you, but not you, I am your mind, yet I think to myself, I make the moves, yet you choose them” Connor looks up from his hands and stands up to be eye level with the figure. “What is the tattoo on my chest?” The figure has a big smile on his face and says “Give up and you die and die in vain, keep living and you will know the whole truth of everything and anything.” Connor looks up at the roof and decides to fight for his life.
Suddenly his heart starts beating again. His blood starts to move back around his body. The light gets brighter and brighter, even more brighter than what it was before. He pulls the knife out of his body and clenches his fist. Connor stands up to look at the man who stabbed him, and grabs his head. He looks at Connor in the eyes to see the blank look on his face as he starts to apply force onto his head. Connor gets a good grip on him and throws him into the dent that he left on the ground. Connor’s eyes then glow a bright green, almost as bright as what the mark on his chest is. He jumps up into the arm and reaches up into the sky, the mark on his chest now releasing enough energy starts to take form as a sword to which Connor pulls it out of his chest, the sword having green flames coming off the blade, Connor positions the sword to stab the man. Connor brings the sword back behind his head and swings it down on the man. The sword cuts right through him. The man opens his eyes to see Connor crashing down into the ground right next to him. The sword stuck down into the ground, sending cracks throughout the ground. Out of nowhere A group of guards come running onto the scene and shoot Connor with a tranquiliser dart that knocks him out cold.
Connor’s eyes open to see that he is moving up and is starting to see the wall that is separating the slums and paradise slowly move away from him. He’s unable to move his body but he is able to move his eyes around, from what he can see he is in an elevator moving up a very tall building. He sees that there are hands grabbing hold of his arms, and they have weapons on them. The elevator moves slowly but Connor’s eyes find it hard to focus. His eyes start to spin and his head starts to hurt. Connor’s eyes become heavy and he closes them. Falling back asleep. Connor’s eyes opened to the sound of the elevator door opening, he was still unable to move his head or body around but could still move his eyes around to see the surrounding area. Connor moves his eyes around to see what is around him, quickly moving his eyes desperately trying to find a way to escape this scenario. He sees fancy hallways, clearly of someone of wealth. The hallway he’s being taken down consists of long red carpets, golden statues and portraits of men that he can’t quite see. The soldiers drag him down the hallway to a big door to his left, the door had a golden arch over this extravagant double door made of the finest woods. The doors seem to open by itself, to which the soldiers starting moving him further into the dark room, there was a person standing at the end of the room in front of a big window looking out at the slums, the person turns around and comes closer to Connor, he can’t quite make out who it is. They keep moving closer to Connor, they come closer and closer to Connnor and kneels down in front of him and says “Hello Son.”
