"Fate of the Choshire," a quiet voice spoke.
Enkita fell off the rooftop as he heard the voice. As he fell, he saw a young woman standing next to him. "It's been a while," the girl says as she watched Enkita fall.
The girl had a slender body, was the same height as Enkita, and looked beautiful. She was holding onto a book; it seems like she was there to visit Enkita.
Enkita was barely able to stand from the hit, but he was able to see who she was. "Eve?" he said as he struggled to get back up.
Eve is an old friend of Enkita. She has royal blood, meaning she's from Lyririe, she has worked there, and lived there for the past decade. "What are you doing here?" Enkita questioned.
Enkita stared at the book she held, "What's that about Fate of the Choshire? What's that book?" he said.
Eve sat down on a chair that was outside and showed the cover of the book to Enkita, "I've always wondered the same things you have, I'm sure everyone has, this book here has the clues to what must've happened," she said as she handed over the book to Enkita.
The book that Eve held titled "Fate of the Choshire" was a book found by royalty in the early days of Choshire. The book contained a lot of common information about Choshire; however, there was no author anywhere in the book, and some pages were torn off. The author is as mysterious as the book itself.
Enkita threw the book on the ground, "This book is useless. People have looked at this book for years and found nothing, why did you bring me this book anyway?" he said in a stressed tone.
Eve wasn't fazed by his demeanor instead she grabbed the book and gave it back to Enkita, "Enkita, do you trust others with your conscience of the world? Are you able to remember the elite military personnel that embarked on the mission five years ago? They keep telling all of us that they don't know where they went but won't go to the bridge themselves. What if they found a better place than here?" she said as she got up from her chair.
Eve started walking off, "I shall wish you a good journey," she said in a serious tone. Enkita watched her walk from his house, with no words to say, he continued to work on his house.
As time passed, Enkita managed to reinforce the rooftop. Uli wouldn't return until tomorrow as she was the only one that they could rely on for more advanced treatments. It was nighttime and Enkita didn't have much to do, he felt ready to fall asleep, but the book he was given was staring right at him, begging him to read it.
Enkita sat on his bed with the book in his hands, "Well, I don't have much to do anyways," he said as he opened the book to the first page.
He spent hours reading the book, with a disappointed expression on his face. The book had many things he already knew, Lyririe has made sure to teach everyone in Krester everything about Choshire, and what they had found unless they deemed it to be confidential.

"All of those who cross the bridge must enter prepared, the unknown will be known within the Choshire bridge."
"Choshire is the exclamation of free will in humanity."
"The journey through the bridge is a maze, the only escape is the key within you, the key within your intention, that will reveal the truth."
After many hours, Enkita had completed the book, "This book is useless. Just like I told Eve, there's nothing but common information here, we all know this," he said as he put the book away on a shelf.
Enkita laid down on his bed conflicted about the world; however, that was not all he had to worry about on that day.
Frantic knocking could be heard on the main door, Enkita suddenly got up from his bed weirded out by the knocking. He slowly opened the door and saw someone who had a uniform that resembled the one from the care facility. "Uli is missing," the worker said as tears rolled down her face.
The girl had a shocked expression on her face, "She was supposed to show up for work today, one of my coworkers reported that she would show up, but that's all the information we have. I knew she lived with you, so I thought we'd let you know," she said.
Enkita's face became pale, "Why do you assume she's missing? Oh right, she never misses work, there's nowhere else she could go either," he stuttered.
Without another word he rushed out of his house to search for Uli, he didn't want anything bad to happen to her. If she was in trouble, he wanted to rescue her before anything happened, he wasn't going to wait. This was his chance to get Uli to rely on him more rather than it being the opposite.
It was very late at night; lights had been cut out for a majority of the town. The people who work had already arrived at their homes; most buildings are unoccupied by now, and it was too late to be up so everyone was asleep.
Enkita walked through a long dark path in order to reach the care facility, one of the only places in the entire town with enough lightning and people to continue to operate. With tears rolling down his face he barged through the door and looked around the whole building, until everyone had told him the exact same story.
"Maybe she left you for a royal man, I don't see any woman who would be able to rely on a weakling like you," an annoyed worker said.
Enkita's emotions suddenly got the best of him, and he punched the worker in the face. The worker's nose had been busted from the impact and blood started coming out. Security quickly threw him out of the building.
As he sat on the grass outside of the building he stared at his hands, tears kept rolling down at a faster rate. "This can't be real," he stuttered.
