Some pictures of designs and traditionally drawn art pieces.
For the story pictures: first I made digital color drafts with right color & looks, as references.
To get that storybook style, they're drawn again but traditionally (watercolor + color pencils)

The booklet on the right side was originally high-school work from the 2000s (added drawn cover to make it a booklet) The left green one was a self-made printed booklet. It was rewritten into near-7k English words in 2014. It was as a creative challenge to revamp the story. (which was even more childishly written than what you've read now) XD
