003 - Visitors Pt. 1

Meet Poppy, one of Fynn's... Friends? Rivals? Enemies? He certainly doesn't seem enthused to see the other.
Technically Fynn would be the "rival", given his type in comparison to Poppy's, but with the starters we ended up choosing and with me telling the story from my run's perspective... Well! Have gen 4 nuzlocke where the rival is actually weak to the protagonist. Kinda wacky!

This is story based off of a Pokemon Platinum Nuzlocke I completed with a few other friends back in Summer 2021. Our playthrough followed standard nuzlocke rules, but it had two mercy clauses to make the playthrough and story more enjoyable for us.
1. The starter can't die.
2. Pokemon can be revived via revives found on the ground.
That being said, the faints in our (or more specifically my) playthrough will still be represented, just perhaps not in ways you'd usually expect. Regardless, this story has been in the works for a while, so I hope you enjoy! I've wanted to make a nuzlocke comic for years, and I'm glad to finally be getting to it. <3
