Sounds of an anonymous figure stepped into a red zone with tall and large gates.

"Beknown Demon god Adrona, this is the door to the afterlife. Entry is prohibited to beings who are not dead!"

"Gasp!!", the guards who were guarding the 'Gate of the afterlife' that is a doorway to hell and heaven, fell on their knees. One of the guards began mumbling,

"This pressure... Were you hiding your true might for all these years? Not even the Divine gods but a Demon god who was destined to rot in hell is omitting such omnipotent aura?!"

The guard's gaze turned above only to be met with an ominous glare from the Demon god. His glare described the depths of fear. The dark and red eyes omitted a fierce warning to not look down on them.

""Move aside!!""

The guards flinched at the voice, "Ugh!!"

"Sound transmission? No... This is the a level where one can make everything happen with sheer will. It takes almost a hundred thousand years to achieve and be proficient in it for divine gods. But for him to achieve such length in a few millennia, he is more dangerous than a monster!"

The other guard spat out blood and began to address himself.

"I am the 'Divine knight' Darksen! I acknowledge that you are the strongest being in this universe!"

Darksen formed a grin all of a sudden.

"But compared to our lord, your power is equivalent to that of an ant!!!"

The Demon god angered by the taunt began releasing dark energy. Black-coloured thunderstrikes were reigning all over the ground. Darksen still didn't falter.

The berserking power dissipated all of a sudden. Demon god Adrona was spellbound.

""KNEEL!""

An unknown voice pressured the Demon god. He fell on his knees and his pride was crushed at that moment

[How can I feel this pressured? I am the most powerful being in this universe.]

""YOU MAY BE THE MOST POWERFUL BEING IN THIS UNIVERSE..., BUT NOT IN THE ENTIRETY OF EXISTENCE!!""

"Kuagh!!!"

The Demon god spat out blood this time around instead of the guards. That was the most disgraceful scenario he ever faced. The voice came from every direction, unlike the his level where emission is travelled one way.

Darksen walked forward and said,

"That is the might of an 'Origin entity' who reigns supreme over all the multiverse and dimensions. Their sovereignty can't even be compared to the domain of gods. You are just a powerful being of a single universe. Not a multiverse!!!"

Those words completely humiliated Adrona, "Origin entity...?"

That was the first time he ever heard about an 'Origin entity'. And that Demon god was none other than me.

From that moment, I started investigating 'Origin entities'. After a few years of research, I found that origin entities were beings that were formed rather than being born. Taking the knowledge from my first life, where I lived as a scientist into account, I found out that they were the first living entities that led to the formation of the whole cosmos. They were one of the by-products formed by a certain phenomenon after the 'Big-Bang explosion'.

[I must have gone crazy...!]

To get on the nerves of an 'Origin entity', no one can be crazier than me. The results of those researches made me an obsessed demon. I started travelling many worlds to find an 'Origin entity' while lazing around instead of growing more powerful. I began frequently visiting the entrance to the afterlife just to witness a glance of an 'Origin entity', but ended up being restrained.

Due to this, the divine gods had enough time to grow their power. After 100 millennia, I was ambushed by the divine gods and met my end. The obsession that resulted in my fall was the biggest regret of all my lives.

Coming to the present, I am looking at my former obsession and began to sigh. The large entity stretched out its hand towards my heart.

Darkened crimson flames began to wrap around me. At this point, I was no longer shocked. I began sighing as the crimson flames held me in mid-air. What I felt weird were the flames that felt like a quilt instead of a burning fire.

After being held in mid-air I was met with the gaze of the entity. This time, the crimson eyes that were emanating flames opened wider. I began to get goosebumps a second time.

The huge creature spoke for a second time.

"No need to be afraid, my dear young lad. Cause you are now about to inherit

Now, I had no choice but to go crazy.

"Ahem... Excuse me Mr Dragon-face, I don't know who you are but I don't remember being a disciple to anyone in my whole life. So, may I know why you are addressing me as a young lad rather than a poor soul? No, first may I know what is all this?!"

I began addressing it as Dragon-face since I was unaware of its identity. Dragon-face looked at me with eyes that indicated sympathy. I don't know why but I was pissed by that gaze. I tried to clear my mind to prevent going even more crazy.

"I summoned you here to answer your questions and to make you realise your true purpose!"

[Did he just say he would answer all my questions?... Every question?]

"I can clearly tell that you recognised me earlier. Yes, I am an 'Origin entity', who reigns supreme over all beings!"

I questioned him to make sure whether he was telling the truth.

"How can I trust you?!"

I spat out blood and fell unconscious since I wasn't a Demon god but rather a fragile human.

I was sure of it. That was 'Sovereignty', one of the unique techniques used by the Origin entities. I felt it in my past life from the lord of afterlife.

With my human body, I should be blown to bits by the pressure by now. So why am I only unconscious?
