Part 1:
“How Long Until The Crown Breaks?”
3. Walking out of the bar back into the main district of the city, Morlagon and Mashina along with the three guards make their way back over to the sovereign and sovereigness.
Walking past the gates, Morlagon becomes accompanied by sixty more guards as they meet them halfway at the diamond made steps of the palace.
Morlagon smirks, "no need of checking my safety as of now, I need to get Mashina here back in to speak with my father up front, what I want you all to do is follow me."
They show not much emotion, but give a little nod instead of understanding him.
Meanwhile, Mashina looks in awe seeing so many people watching over just one person, since these men alone are Morlagon's guards, that's how many people of this province there are, enough for sixty three people to guard one person, along with creatures for safety as well.
Walking past his guards, then gesturing with his hand to move forward, Morlagon starts walking up the steps with Mashina by his side, and with this guards open the door for him and they walk inside with the ten guards by them, walking down the crystalized glass foyer to the meeting room where confrontations take place.
But before the door with more guards is the princess. Tera turns around and waits for Morlagon as he makes his way to her with a kiss and a hug.
"Ben is with the handmaidens again?"
"Yes, they are putting him to sleep for naptime." Shifting her eyes to Mashina who stands there somewhat shyly while admiring all the decor and layout of the palace so far.
Tera clears her throat as Morlagon says, "since you two are up close, now is the time to truly introduce each other."
"Right," Mashina goes, "I was Morning, a warrior of time and now lifelong friend of Prince Morlagon, nice to meet you, I'm Mashina, stermonger...well ruler of my crystal mountain."
She lets her hand out, with Tera looking down to Mashina's black gloved hand, looking hesitant to shake her hand, Tera does saying, "I am princess Tera of Lesothia from Province of the Lion, you know my name by now and who I am to Morlagon."
She lovingly rubs Morlagon's shoulder as he lets out a small smile with Mashina noticing and saying, "yes, I know."
"Good." Turning back around to the door, Tera gestures to the guards for them to open up the glass doors of the room.
The glass doors only reflect the outside of the room, a very familiar sight to Mashina, so she ended up staring at that as well.
"Come on Mashina, let's go in."
It's when they entered the high sapphire colored ceiling room full of paintings of heirs before Marshogon that Mashina's mouth dropped at the beauty of the place, but they all just sat or stood there, waiting for Morlagon to say something as he watches Mashina look to the specific painting of his father, still in the works actually.
Seeing her own men and women there along with the Lesothian rulers, she looks towards them, straightening herself out before them.
"Mashina, speak your word."
After hearing him say this, she speaks of her ordeal saying, "your majesty, I come here asking for your help with a rebellion against a nation of ours."
"And you need...?" Marshogon starts as Maldu sits back and listens.
Shifting her eyes to Morlagon for a split second, she walks a little closer to the ruling seat of the room to say, "I am asking of soldiers, anyone of your powerful military to accompany my partners in battling for our land, a specific request would be ones who use bow and arrow, as we will be shooting down from a mountain to them."
"And how are these 'people' attacking, what's their stance?"
"They are rebels of the Dorianian nation, they live amongst us, but in the caves of our mountain. They want it all for themselves, and we're willing to fight for the mountain they claim to be their original home before my people were brought about. But since it is the mountain my people always knew of, and my warrior stance for them, I stand by the mountain, my home, and will fight for it for us Medaian people to stay."
Hearing the truth and passion in her voice, Maldu steps to Mashina, close and comfortable enough for her to hold Mashina's icy hands through her thick black gloves.
"We will help you, no worries, we will help protect and keep what is yours."
Turning to Marshogon, he nods a little then says, "I will speak with the Captain of the Guards before I think of my final decision."
He gets up with the help of his guards, and with Advisor Sir Trell; Then he leaves the room.
"This may take a few, but we will wait it out, for now, would you like to walk around the foyer of the palace with us Mashina?"
"Yes, that sounds cool enough."
Tera looks at her.
"Your men and women can come along too." He accounts, heading out first.
Walking out, Mashina follows him and eventually makes it to him as they study the sights of the palace since Mashina loved it so much.
Then about an hour and a half later, the sovereign returns back with his guards following him.
Maldu turns ever so lightly as she says, "already made your decision my dear?"
Marshogon steps aside with a smirk on his face as General Covey comes out behind him, looking ready as ever as he approaches them with these words:
"Yes, the men that are rebelling against you warrior sound intimidating, but...Not for us. I am sure my men will destroy these fiends that call themselves taking land you were given by our very Creator."
He lets out a dragging smile as he sharply turns back to the sovereign and says, "when would you like me to ready the men and women?"
Mashina smiles at Morlagon right beside Tera and Maldu.
"I'd like you to do it now, we best get this over with since it will be a journey to and fro from here, so get started."
Marshogon walks over to Maldu saying as he kisses her hand, "Is this still well with you my dear?"
"Yes, I have just prayed about it and have yet to feel a burden about this mission." She turns to Mashina with a slight bow as Mashina does the same.
"Warrior, with your strength, my son's strength, and the power of our army, navy, flyers, bombers, archers, and specialized guards, I find no fear as such to stay here. You will return home and stay home in all wellness and comfort as all our men come back."
She nods her head as Mashina does the same, with the General saying right after, "I have sent flyers to spy on the mountain sir right after we located it on our map."
"Good, let me know the message, then we will leave right away. I trust our mission even in this short planning, because only weak men and women would do slow attacks on a place they so call their home, it's like throwing rocks just to say you are mad, they need more, and we are going to give them what they should have done if they really cared about the mountain."
While saying this, Marshogon gets up, causing everyone to instantly bow to him, including Mashina and her people, as he leaves off into his room with his guards and men as Maldu follows after.
Giving yet another nod to her as she walks away.
"As of now, let's enjoy our stay my lady." Croger tells her.
"I will." She replies.
It was a few days after when the flyers had come back with news of the Dorianians and their attack on the Crystal Mountain.
Landing down their Orpa's and running over to the palace gates, the doors open for the messengers as they spread the news around.
And eventually landing right to the sovereign and sovereignesses ears, they gear up their warriors and prepare for a battle, one that are so proud to say will be easy, but with the greatest preparation they still prepare as the archers march out with their weapons in hand, ready to destroy whatever comes their way.
Standing before them is the General taking charge, and right by him is the sovereign and sovereigness themselves.
"They are ready." The General proudly turns to Marshogon and Maldu to say.
Marshogon just nods as he moves over to watch his men walk out with Mashina's men and women of fight that have traveled all this way with her.
And behind them is the band playing out the music, along with Morlagon making his appearance with Roid along with Mashina by his side with her companion.
Maldu nods her head and smirks saying, "oversee my prince."
Then Marshogon steps up to him saying, "still be careful my son, there is another battle before the war."
"The weather and the way I will handle father, I got this in my hands. I claim to be very clean."
He smiles as Mashina looks at them saying, "I will lead the way to my mountain for insight into your majesty."
Maldu nods and steps back, including Marshogon after giving a good stare at them, with Tera walking up to them and giving a loving kiss to Morlagon as he kisses Estenbenyahu on the cheek as well.
And in formation, they say a prayer together with all the people as they let out a powerful and unified, "HalleluYah!!!"
Mashina watches and smiles as Morlagon nods back to them afterward, and with this, they head out through the gates for what appears to be an easy battle.
With their Orpa's and companions with them, they fly up by the creatures towards the north, over the Adenian Sea into the Lesothian Nations. With Morlagon looking below through all the strong and powerful cold and snowy winds to see nothing but snow and ice covered fields, and something of what looks like people below.
"Those are the poorest Solvians...They live on the tundras, it's their unique and strange lifestyle, like mine!" She laughs a little, speaking loud through the winds.
"I was wondering," Morlagon adds, "they run quite wild, or maybe from here it just seems that way."
Almost cutting him off, she adds to his words, "they are, they barely let out understandable sentences, I'm just glad my people aren't that way, aren't so...Naive."
"Me too...If that's not insulting..." Morlagon looks to her as if starting something.
Mashina stares back at him saying, "It's not, it's just the truth, nothing is insulting if it's the truth."
He hums, understanding well what she means.
And looking on ahead now, they see the huge and snow covered mountain.
"Home sweet chilly home." Mashina softly lets out for herself to hear.
"It's so cold Mashina...Really...Really cold, it's because we're closer to the mountain, right?"
"Yes, my people are made to survive through this weather and atmosphere, it's a favorite of mine to immerse in the snow."
Seeing Marshogon barely able to reply now, Mashina starts to laugh a little.
"This is...Not funny Mashina...It's really getting to me, even through all this layering."
"Well, I pray our men are doing okay then." She says, starting to look slightly worried now.
With them flying right down on the flattest part of the mountain, they all land in different areas of the mountain entrance, with some landing right below the mountain to keep watch there.
With Morlagon and Mashina getting off last, Mashina walks over to Cregor and begins speaking with him in their language.
Meanwhile, Morlagon watches and listens to his men as his guards step right beside him, walking with Morlagon everywhere he goes.
Speaking with his men, all in their squads, talking with the squad leaders, sergeants, lieutenants, all the archers that are getting into position, he starts to hear around him some of his men whispering about the cold and how deadly it feels to them, even hearing that some of his men are already getting frostbite.
"Hey, stay warm everyone, here is some firewood, let's burn it around us so that it doesn't harm the natives."
All bowing before him, they lift up their heads to him as one of the squad leaders says back with his voice shivering fiercely from the cold temperatures.
"We-We are terri-ri-bly cold, your highness."
Morlagon quickly appoints the guards to fetch more wood and make the fire, and even grabbing wood himself, his guards turn to him, only somewhat surprised since Morlagon has a habit of 'fitting in with the commoners' by his good actions and choices.
"You don't have too, your highness, I got it." One of the guards proceeds to say this, but Morlagon lets his arm out before him, gesturing to him that it is alright.
Lighting the fire, all the men in the area surround the burning flames and keep themselves there for quite a bit as the dedicated archers keep watch over the hills of the snow covered mountain.
Morlagon walks up to them with guards and Roid by his side to say to them, "It is freezing my men, please come by the fire so that you don't get frostbite or hypothermia!"
The leader of the first squad of archers casually bows to Morlagon and says, "our highness, we will be fine as of now, by night we will stay by the fire!"
Morlagon nods his head before thinking on and saying, "well, make sure you do that, stay warm and safe, I'll check on you all later."
All saying, "yes, our prince." Simultaneously, Morlagon went back to the fire to see a few of the men running around, from what looks like a small flying creature.
"What is that? Someone grab it please?" Morlagon orders.
"Yo what the heck is that thing??" One of the men yells.
"I don't know!" The other yells, finally stopping once Mashina grabs it calmly with her hand and throws it over the mountain.
"That little white bug is just an average pest here, but it harms us in any way it can, it's not poisonous though, but its bites will hurt, and I think it tried to bite through your armor with its little mouth." Mashina steps closer to one of the guards and checks his arm.
"Just a dint..." She says before walking over to Morlagon saying, "we kill them so that they can be no more, they contribute to nothing. But I am sorry about its sudden appearance, I guess I should have told you about the pest up here as well."
She crosses her arms as Morlagon says with a hand on her shoulder, "it's okay, we'll be fine, it's about the battle we are to fight that matters, and as of now, we are still in good condition and have all that we need."
"So let's keep watching more, I'll have my men and women onsight."
Nodding to each other, they move opposite each other to inform their men.
And with this as nighttime sets in on the now dimly lit mountain, they all keep their stance as the watch over the mountain, with waiting for even the slightest occurance to happen.
When they hear the subtle sound of footsteps coming from the pathway up the mountain, the Lesothian archers immediately prepare their bow and arrow to face yet another great battle.
