Closing Notes: Despite being from Jewish mythology, shedim are not really recognized has canon in modern Judaism. Most references of shedim can be found in the Babylonian Talmud, a sacred text of Judaism filled with Jewish laws, folklore, and rituals. But at one point in time, many of the practices and beliefs in the Talmud were reviewed by Jewish authorities and deemed as non-canon in the Jewish faith, including shedim. So if you're wondering why your Jewish friends haven't heard of these creatures, now you know why.
