Milo hummed quietly to himself as he closed the door to his chambers and went to sit on his couch as his magic worked off to the side, magically making tea for himself.
So, his hunch turned out to be right. While, true, he’d asked Hati to hang out from curiosity, but also because he was worried something might be going on; he gave off a strange aura that made Milo think it was better to check in on it than to leave it be.
It seemed like Hati wasn’t as open about his personal life as he let on, and it looked like the issue was bigger than what Milo had originally thought. At least, something about what he’d seen gave him the impression as such. If it was enough to make a demon worry…
Milo frowned as his cup of freshly brewed tea floated to him. He took it out of the air casually, taking a sip and ignoring the burn that developed on his tongue. He’d heal it later if it bugged him. What bugged him more was how he’d been acting. What was going on with him lately? It wasn’t like him to focus in on a single person for this long, but Milo hadn’t been able to get Hati out of his head lately. Usually when something like this happened, it was only a few days, and Milo usually took it as a sign. Said sign wasn’t ever about just a person though. It quickly turned into something that was happening to the person, and Milo would be able to help with the issue. But with Hati, that didn’t seem to be the case. The feeling never refined into what specifically was needed; it only stayed the same feeling or strengthened.
He took another sip of his tea, before he let it float out of his hands to set itself on his coffee table. Whatever this was, Milo was sure the universe would solve it if given enough time.
In the meanwhile, he decided, he’d just do what he could to help.
