[ Lyririe Empire | Vier Territory ]

A group of people kneeled in front of a throne, this time however, it was not for Lady Shamhat. It was for another figure, in a different empire. The Lyririe Empire, the one residing within the town of Krester. It's the commander of Lyririe, no one knew how the commander looked, besides for a specific group of people. That group is part of Lyririe's highest ruling members, within the territory of Vier.

"It does appear as if our spies have confirmed that Luitol will be holding their mission despite our treaty with them," a man from those who were kneeling said.

The commander stared at the man with an empty expression, "That shall be no problem for us; however, it will be a problem for them. They will lose their town, their families, and their empire. War shall start," the commander ordered.

"How do we plan to do such an action, commander," a woman kneeling added to the conversation.

The commander laughed, "We have a capable weapon, almost ready to devastate the balance of Choshire. The balance of this world will be broken, once we engage Exodus," the commander spoke in confidence.

A man stood up from the shock, "Exodus? This is the second time in documented history that it has been used, as far as our knowledge goes. The power withheld within Exodus is beyond that of a mere mortal," the man said as he stared as the commander.

The commander stood up from their throne, "Of course, we won't launch Exodus by itself. We shall recruit as many soldiers as we can, as a distraction. Have it done tomorrow morning," the commander said as they walked towards the exit of the throne room.

"Commander," the man standing up said in a lower voice.

The remaining of the group kneeling stood up, "Order the Maenadic forces to alert the other territories of the war, I'll get the Stiletto force set up for the recruiting process," the woman from before said as she also headed out of the throne room.

The man standing up stared at the ones remaining in the room, "I'll continue the procedure required for Exodus, we must have it finished soon as the commander ordered," he said as he followed the woman.

"We'll have part of the Maenadic forces follow security protocols for Zwei, we must protect our capital," the remainder of the group said.

On that day, everything changed. A war between Lyririe and Luitol would be declared the following day, all due to a treaty being broken. Lady Shamhat and the commander of Luitol had their intentions set, this was just the beginning of the many events in Choshire.

It was a bright and sunny day. The morning sun shone brightly across the town, the sky was blue, and the clouds were white and fluffy. It was a normal day in Krester.

Enkita slowly opened his eyes as the sun shined on his face through his window, "Huh, what? Where? Where am I?" he suddenly realized what had happened and quickly jumped out of his bed.

He realized he was in his house, "Was it all a dream? Is Uli okay? What is?" Enkita worried. He couldn't think straight after what happened the day before, he looked at his clothes, and they were dirty. He looked at his hands tremble, "Did yesterday really happen?" he muttered.

He rushed outside, quickly opening the door, but then he saw someone. That same girl with the slender body and the same height as Enkita was outside of his house. "Oh, hi Eve, what are - what are you doing here?" Enkita said as he started to lose his breath.

Eve slowly approached the nervous Enkita, "I heard about Uli," she said as the wind blew through her hair.

Enkita started to lose his sanity completely, "It wasn't, a dream?" he stuttered as he stared at Eve with a blank expression, as if he had lost all of what he had in him.

Eve seemed confused, "A dream? She really is missing," she told Enkita as he started to tear up in front of her.

He couldn't handle it anymore, "I saw Uli, last night. She was dead, hanging from a rope," he cried out. He didn't want to believe his own words, he felt as if Uli couldn't really be dead. It had to be a rancid joke.

She was shocked at what she heard, "What? Hanging from a rope?" she had no words to say, but she started to show that same blank expression, as if the world had stopped.

"I was in a colosseum, that I never saw before. It was weird shit, I just saw a path, and it felt like it was calling out my name," Enkita exclaimed in desperation.

Eve continued to be confused, "There are no colosseums anywhere in Choshire, how could you have seen one? Are you sure? Uli is missing, but that doesn't sound real, I don't know why you would make this up," she questioned Enkita as she stared right at him.

Enkita couldn't handle everything that was going on, "I saw her with my own eyes, I could feel everything, I saw everything, I could lead you there," he yells at her.

Eve stared at him as if he had lost his mind, "A colosseum would be big enough to see in here, the only big place here is the Lyririe empire, but if you can lead me to it, I'll trust you," she said only partly trusting Enkita's testimony.

Enkita walked ahead of Eve towards the path leading to the main part of the town, "Follow me, it's this way," he said as he seemed determined to find this place again and show it to Eve.

Eve watched Enkita walk towards the path, she then followed him in order to see where the supposed colosseum is.

As they walked through the paths, they finally reached the path leading to the Lyririe empire's gate, "It should be somewhere around here," he said looking for every nook and cranny through the path.

Enkita seemed lost, he couldn't find the path to the Colosseum. It would be pretty clear where a colosseum would be because of its size, but despite that, he tried to find that path from before. It was nowhere to be seen, "I swear, I saw it here I'm not an idiot," he said as he kept looking desperately.

Eve watched him for a few minutes, "A colosseum could definitely be seen from around here, even if you find a path around here, it probably wouldn't lead to a colosseum," she said as she grew tired from seeing Enkita in such a state.

The town was lively as it was the morning, everyone had gotten up to work, some worked on their own houses, some worked on their farms, and some worked in one of the few facilities Lyririe had set up for the Krester citizens. People were walking back and forth from the gate to the neighborhood, it seemed as something special was happening on that day.

A loud alarm could be heard across the town, "This is an announcement from Lyririe, the empire that rules Krester, the town all of you reside in. Today, we have a very important announcement for everyone," a voice could be heard throughout the town.

Enkita and Eve stood in silence next to each other, "As known around here, we had signed a treaty with Luitol in order to stop the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of people, and unnecessary involvement with the unknown," the voice continued as everyone stood in silence listening to the announcement.

The town went from a lively environment to pure silence, "However, Luitol has broken that treaty, and is undergoing a mission to cross the Choshire bridge. The most dangerous and mysterious territory of our country," the voice ringed echoed through the entire town.

People started speaking to each other, rambling about what they just heard, "As the highest ruling royalty of Choshire, we have decided to respond, this sort of action cannot be justified as anything but treason to humanity. We decided that we will be declaring war against Luitol in order to stop their evil," the voice stopped.

The townspeople started getting loud as they heard the announcement, "What the fuck is going on? War? What is the military doing here?" Enkita questioned as he looked around. Military personnel could be seen setting up around the area.

"This is also news to me," Eve said as she watched Enkita closely.

As they set up one of them pulled out a megaphone, "As you overheard, Lyririe has declared war against the town of Luitol, and today we will be recruiting new members for the Stiletto force. Joining is not a requirement for anyone, but assisting your town shows us your will to fight for Lyririe," the military man said as he helped prepare the stall.

The military men opened up a stall with registration forms set on the table, "We will engage in our first attack in three years, training and operation planning will be held until then for our recruits," the military man declared as he put down the megaphone.

Enkita walked up to the stall, "I want to join," he said as he grabbed a form. Eve ran towards him and grabbed the form, "What are you doing? What about Uli? Are you going to war without figuring out where she went?" she said as she stared at Enkita with a confused look.

Enkita looked at Eve with a distressed face and grabbed the form, "I don't know if Uli is alive or not, but she wasn't anywhere in here. If I work as a royal soldier, I could go inside the empire and see if Uli is there maybe, and maybe if she isn't there, she'll be in another town, right? Maybe I'm delusional about this but Uli was the only one I had," he cried.

"If that colosseum is real, I saw her die. If she really is dead, she'd want me not to worry about her, she would want me to go and do something with my life instead of being all depressed in this town," Enkita exclaimed as he started to walk away.

Eve grabbed his arm before he left and showed him one of the forms, "I'll join you and assist you in your journey. I noticed how genuine you seemed as you spoke about Uli and I felt the light in your eyes," she said with a grin across her face.

And with that, they both sign up to become part of the Stiletto force.
