[Lyririe/Eins, Stiletto Training Facility]
It was nighttime, the full moon was out, and the stars sparkled beautifully across the dark sky. It was raining, quiet enough to be relaxing. As the first day came to a close, everyone was in the lobby of the training facility enjoying the meals they were given for dinner. Enkita and Eve were at their own table, everyone had found someone or a group to be around already.
Eve played with her hair as she looked at Enkita, "It seems as if we'll be together until death," she said.
Enkita spat out his food, "Eve that sounds like WE ARE DATING! I don't know what you mean by that," he exclaimed as he grabbed a napkin to clean the table.
"Think about it, there are many ways we could die starting today," Eve said as she continued to play with her hair.
"There really is no point thinking about it man, these past few days have been a ride for me. I have to bear the possibility of Uli being dead, I have to do this training shit, it's a lot for me, but I have to pull through," Enkita said as he finished eating his food.
Eve looked through the window, "It's beautiful outside, is it not?" she said as she watched the starry sky.
Enkita looked at Eve while she admired the outside, "Yeah, very beautiful," he said as he blushed.
Director Weiss barged into the lobby with a few officers, "We have come to report that our recruits have gone down to 230, this has been a result of Hegira's tech and their weak link with it. 170 of our recruits have passed out and have not woken up since their engagement," she declared with a neutral expression.
The lobby suddenly became quiet as she spoke, everyone had their eyes set on Director Weiss. There was shock at the many who couldn't handle the Hegira gear.
"Anyway, as I mentioned we will have an assignment at the end of each day. As you've all successfully engaged your Hegira gear, we'll be going to test it," Director Weiss ordered.
Director Weiss grabbed a picture from her pocket, "These entities are called beasts, we kill them all the time around here, they show up in isolated areas around the night, so if you haven't seen them, we have likely killed them or they do not have any interest in the place you lived at," she laughed.
Everyone started rambling with each other about the picture Weiss showed them, no one had ever witnessed a beast before. "Director, you haven't really shown us how to use these things," a young man questioned.
Director Weiss laughed, "You shall learn on your own as you fight them, as I said these are easy to use. But they will still need a bit of time for you to adapt to them entirely," she responded.
"There is a spot near Zwei, our capital, that they like to hang out in. We will be protecting near the entrance to the capital, if you let them through, I'll kill you personally, " Director Weiss laughed.
[Fun Fact]
- Lyririe's uniform consists of a black short sleeve shirt and black pants with a spot around the thigh that protects the Hegira gear. Steel-toe boots are required as well.

The rain has started to become stronger, past the point of relaxation. The recruits rushed through it toward the entrance of the capital, they were on their way to complete their first assignment.
Someone caught up next to Enkita and Eve while they were running, "I know this is a bad time to make conversation, but my name is Kezdar," a young man ran next to them.
Enkita looked to his side as he ran, "Who the hell are you, and why are you coming over to us now of all times?" he said as caught his breath.
Kezdar was slowly losing his pace, "Woah, I'm just trying to build up a friendship here dude. I know no one out here, I'm bored to shits," he exclaimed.
They had finally made it to the entrance, one of the first to make it to the entrance in fact. It appears as if many others ran slower just to have a long time talking with each other. Everyone was soaked from all the rain; it was getting stronger over time.
Kezdar looked at Eve, "I see now, am I breaking the tension here?" he laughed.
Enkita and Eve looked at each other, "No, we simply have a friendship. Nothing past that," Eve said as she blushed.
"Anyway, my name is Eve. His name is Enkita, we don't know anyone here either. So, we're sticking together," Eve continued to speak in order to change the topic.
Director Weiss showed up with an umbrella, "I can see them from here. Any second and we'll be in battle, get ready," she said as she looked at an area that seemed empty.
Something started walking in their vision, a big entity that looked exactly like the one from the picture they were shown. It was a beast, it had a full black body, and it was covered with bubbles sticking out of its skin.
Everything suddenly stopped as they watched it slowly creep toward them, "What the fuck is that?" Enkita exclaimed as he took a step back.
Director Weiss walked away from the recruits, "It's your time to shine," she said as she watched from a distance.
One of the recruits jumps onto it with their artificial blade, slashing away at the bubbles on the skin. "Wrong," Director Weiss yelled out as she watched.
The bubbles burst with an acidic substance and spray on the recruit's body, quickly murdering the recruit. Everyone watched as the beast remained unscathed, the bubbles quickly reappeared on the body of the beast.
The shock everyone had as they watched someone brutally die in front of their eyes, people screaming and running around. Enkita's group just standing in shock as they watch everything happen.
Director Weiss clapped as she got closer to the recruits, "We don't use the artificial blades on the beasts because of this, the soundwaves that Hegira generates are enough to kill them; however, you have a limit to how much you're able to generate those soundwaves," she said as she laughed.
One of the recruits launched at Weiss with a blade in hand, "You killed my husband, you whore," the recruit cried.
Director Weiss remained unemotional even with her life being threatened, "YOU KNEW WHAT IT WOULD DO, WHY WOULD YOU NOT TELL US?" she cried as she held the blade toward her neck.
"I never ordered anyone to rush the beast with no plans; however, if you attempt to kill me you will not see anyone you love alive including yourself," Director Weiss continued to laugh in front of the woman.
The woman gave up and fell on the floor. "That's not the only one," Director Weiss declared.
A horde of beasts could be seen rushing toward the group, they were all unorganized, traumatized, and unaware of what was going on.
"We can't just watch this happen," Kezdar said as he pulled out his artificial blade.
Kezdar grabbed Enkita and Eve towards the one beast, "The soundwaves work like bullets, you need to aim at the beasts to kill them," he said as he readied his blade.
Enkita and Eve were shocked, "Why - why are you using a blade? Didn't it just kill the other guy?" Enkita asked while he held onto his own blade while he trembled.
"If you don't hit the bubbles, they'll die from a single stab of one of these swords," Kezdar said as he watched the beast rush towards them.
The beasts don't care about life. They run over the recruits, brutally killing them as they run them over. They devour the ones who can't do anything because of their fear.
One of the recruits ran around the others, "Separate at once, take each of them on your own, we can't take them all at once!" the recruit yelled out.
In the blink of an eye, a beast comes behind Eve and grabs her to attempt to devour her.
Enkita screamed as he watched the beast grab Eve, out of nowhere the rain started falling on just the specific spot the beast was. The rain became so strong that the water pushed Eve out of the beast's grasp.
The rain became a temperature so hot and started pouring over all the beasts in sight. They all evaporated in the air, everyone except Enkita's group witnessed what happened in front of their eyes. Everyone else was too scared to even move.
Enkita was standing in a pool of water, it all happened so quickly. Enkita was confused as to what he had just done.
Director Weiss walked toward the group, "It's time to go back. You have all succeeded on your assignment for the day," she ordered.
The assignment for the day was over. Enkita had done something inexplicable, something that shouldn't have been possible with Hegira, or any sort of gear. The assignment ended with more of the recruits out of the equation, this time; however, they had died. By the end of the day, only 160 recruits remained alive.
