How Long Until The Crown Breaks?

5. Now during the new year of 97E, around the world of Second Earth, the rulers of each country would give each other gifts to celebrate a new year in life. From trade season to gifting season, this was the way the rulers would contact each other, and even from other continents would they send flyers to give word and gifts.

It has been six months since Morlagon had seen Mashina again, in just that span of time, Morlagon had taken a new wife named Logoet, with even impregnating Logoet by the time he had married her.

During this, the kingdom ran the same, in power, wealth, beauty, luxury, and sense, with their pride in the Creator Yah that all went well as the world sat in their hands as Lesothia is the world power, everything comes from this country, and they help fluidate the world with their trade, givings, and resources.

In his room, casually writing to himself as his three handmen stood by him, including his pet Roid and two blue lions guarding the door.

Morlagon sat at his glass desk and stared at himself threw it, getting lost in his thoughts as he stared to his paper, holding his ink by his head from his arm postion, to where some ink started to drip on the glass.

As one of the guards sees this, he instantly walks over to use his cloth to wipe it up, but Morlagon stops him after, saying "I got it, do not worry, you three may sit and rest if you have to" Morlagon turns back to his paper, "I don't necessarily think I'll finish this letter anytime soon."

Suddenly hearing knocking on the door, he asks "Who is it?"

"It is I, your wife, have these lions move." 

Her voice muffled by the door, Morlagon turns around to face the door saying "Tera, you have the power to tell them to move also."

"I rather you do it, I haven't had a good relationship with these lions since Logoet came around."

Sighing, Morlagon says to her "Don't say that Tera, it was my father's idea to bring a second wife from your now barreness, I apologize for you Tera, but I will not disregard you, you are my love Tera, don't forget that we have Estenbenyahu together, it's all going to be alright."

Standing up now, he walks towards the doors and opens them up, with Tera walking right into his room. The guards rush to close the door as Tera turns to him saying "Why did you open the door?"

He shakes his head and frowns, "because I just wanted to open the door, I get where you are coming from, but I make sure my handmen's work are easy."

"Their job is not supposed to be easy...." 

Clearly upset, she walks over to the window and opens the blinds wide while staring out into the city. Morlagon flinches a little since he sat for an hour in his room writing with only dim blue light to surround him.

"Sir Trell has taken a new wife I hear, is this some kind of trend now?" Turning to him slightly before looking back to the window, Morlagon catches onto the attitude and says "This has always been for anyone close to the sovereign, made a best friend to the sovereign, you may also take up to six wives, that is just how it is."

"Hmph..."

"Tera..."

"Yes...."

"I would like to talk about this letter I got from-"

Cutting him off, Tera turns to Morlagon completely, saying "The woman is already pregnant even, I came up here to ask you if you knew of this?"

"If I said I did, would it make a difference?" Morlagon turns to face her as he sits down in his jeweled seat.

Tera doesn't say anything at the moment as Morlagon says "I would like you to listen to me here, I have this idea to bring us rulers together for a new year celebration, I want to gather our ally rulers and have a nice dinner with them, this way, I'll be able to speak with my warriors again as well."

He smiles, really wanting to go threw with this.

"I have been working on this since Mashina and her people came to ask for our help."

She scoffs again, "I bet you just want to see her, you two seemed close last time."

Morlagon stands up, walking directly to her saying "Tera, calm yourself please....It is not like that, I would never come close to her or anyone outside of this kingdom like that, definitely not when I have you, both you and Logoet."

He grabs her hand but she just pushes his hands down and says "I'm going to go check on Ben, I'll see you down for supper."

Turning around with her dress flowing beautifully in his face, she walks out with two of the handmen opening the door for her.

She thanks them and heads out as they close the door after.

Morlagong plops down into his chair to return to his sixth letter that he has written so far. 

"From Morlagon..." He whispers after two other hours of writing letters. Putting this down, he dips his finger in oil and seals them all.

"I'll have my father review this, let us go before the supper is ready."

Walking out of his castle into the palace of the sovereign and sovereigness, he walks through the doors down the sapphire halls to his father's meeting room. 

Hearing his voice inside, Morlagon opens the door and walks in on his father and Sir Trell having a conversation.

His father sits up from his chair, healing still from his disease as the left of his face is partially grey, and some of his leg and arms as well.

Handling it, Marshogon stands up instead as his men help him, including Sir Trell.

"Your majesty, you should stay seated." Sir Trell says, slightly worried it seems.

Morlagon walks over to his father to help him out, but Marshogon laughs a little saying "You all are acting like I'm on the verge of death, I'm fine, okay."

"Just making sure, father." Morlagon replies.

Marshogon smiles a little as he says "I know son...Anyways, what are these stacks of paper for, and why are you carrying them, your men should be doing that."

"It's not a problem for me father."

"It is for me? What do I look like having my prince running around with papers all in his hands" He grabs one and says "tell me what this is."

"These are invitations, I believe we should have a dinner party with our ally leaders to celebrate the new year. We have gotten great gifts this year and I would love to thank my fellow warriors for it."

Hearing him mention the warriors, Marshogon asks "Is that what this is really for? Because our lands mean much more than just that."

Morlagon frowns, "what do you mean?"

"The party shouldn't just be a reunion, but a true union of nations being well together without any wars or lands being taken away and without any chaos. We need this dinner to represent our greatness, not just so you can meet up with old friends."

Walking back down to his seat, Morlagon puts his hands up saying "What is with you all? We were granted warriors by our Creator, you can't just disregard the importance of that?"

With his father sighing, Marshogon speaks boldly while saying "You clearly have come up with this idea because of the warrior Mashina, if not, you would have mentioned this a year or two before."

Morlagon walks closer to his father saying, "do you want this dinner or not father?"

"I am not saying we can't have the dinner, do it, have your men fly the invitations over to their lands, I'm sure they will answer in time, and in about a week, the party will be set."

Morlagon bows his head as his handsmen grab the paper from him.

With this, Sovereigness Maldu walks into the room, bowing her head as the guards close the door behind her.

"My dear, supper is almost ready, I thought since I was on my way here, I'd tell you myself."

Turning to Morlagon, she hugs him as soon as her eyes lay on him. He smiles at her as Marshogon starts saying "Morlagon came by to ask of a party we should throw with our allied leaders, or more specifically" Je sides eyes Morlagon with a slight smile on his face, "to see his warriors."

Maldu instantly turns back to Morlagon saying "That is something we are to be careful about."

"Of course" Morlagon adds to her words. 

"But, I have thought of them as well, two new years without them after being together for six years is emotional, it's why seeing Mashina again was big, but after all, things have changed."

Marahogon speaks up saying "Are you saying we should have the party or is it too dangerous" He laughs a little, "don't worry darling, we'll have everything watched and under control, trust me they know better than to mess with us of the Lesothian provinces."

As he smiles, Maldu smiles back while saying "Those papers" Pointing to them then stepping back, she adds, "they are invites aren't they?"

"Yes mother, for three weeks I wrote them all, my men can voche for that."

Turning to the handsmen, she smiles and says "Well for all that hard work by hand of the prince, I say send them."

Turning around proudly, she says to Morlagon, "I will everyone know of this party plan" She smiles, "supper will be served shortly as well, don't miss the call."

 Walking out as the guards open the door for her, Marshogon shouts after "our dinner will never be missed!" He laughs it off as he turns to Morlagon saying, "it is done my son, party planning takes a long time, so pace yourself with this, it is no rush." 

 "Of course father."

 As Morlagon turns around, Marshogon asks him, "are you staying for supper?"

 "Logoet has decided on dinner tonight, I cannot pass that up."

 "Of course, my son, no worries."

 Smiling to each other, Morlagon bows his head and walks out, passing Sir Trell by the door.

 "Sir Trell, congratulations on your marriage."

 Sir Trell bows his and says "thank you, your highness."

 As Morlagon nods and walks off along with his men, he can't help but be excited inside to see how the planning will go.

It even made Morlagon more elated as two weeks later, he got his answers.

All of them said yes. Writing back, Morlagon could make out their voices alone through their ego, pride, and justice by the way they wrote.

And from this, the night after their weekly Sabbath, all the servants and chefs of Lesothia came to prepare dinner for the warriors.

And as Morlagon told them to dress in their traditional attire, he stood by the city gates with Marshogon, Maldu, his wives, his son, and his men as the band behind them greets them entering.

And guarded up on snow birds, the first one to make it is Mashina. Dressed in all white this time with cave crystals covering her hair, she gets off the snow bird and walks to them all, bowing before them and saying "Greetings again."

 They all nod as Morlagon hugs her, with her men moving in so that the people after can makes it through.

And the others to show up on camel mixed with giraffe looking creatures called, Dixes. This one is Nooun. Dressed in red and orange sheer garb, Noo-un takes his mask off and hugs them both.

 "It's so good to see you guys again." Then hugging Mashina again she says to him, " I've really missed you, my friend."

As they start talking, another group of people arrive. It's Anun and his men riding on Medito birds. Dressed in fine white cotton garbs with his hair pulled back, he gets off while admiring the place saying, "wow, look at this." While smiling the whole time.

Then coming behind him is Dae-Mi, coming off of a carriage, one of her guards hold her hand as she comes off of the carriage, standing before them all as she takes her wide and crystalized hat off to reveal her eyes staring at them.

Being quiet as she looks around at them, they all come over to her as she kneels and stands back up saying, "It's been so long for us, how is everyone."

After her comes Newen and right with him amidst the large crowd is Ella-Sophia. Both of them arriving at the same time, they all go over to greet each other as Newen walks up to Morlagon with a big wide hug.

 

Both of them dressed up, wearing armor pads on their shoulders with Ella in her skirt and top that hangs glitterly orange while Newen is wearing something similar to a suit that comes off grey, blue, and gold.

"Midnight! Hey!"

All of them hugging, Ella says to them "I've been waiting for this day, has Dawn arrived yet?"

"She should be here soon." Noo-un says.

Then right after, a whole lot of horse come through then in the middle is Dusk. He walks through, smiling at everyone as he gets down, wearing traditional Nokinian garb as he keeps on his crown, walking over to them all as they greet each other again.

"Is Dawn with you?" Ella asks Dusk. 

With bringing back his smile, he says to her, "she's on her way."

Ella smiles and says, "for now give me a hug too."

As they hug, another gang of horses come up behind them; and it's Dawn.

Coming up to them, dressed in a fine peach golden dresses with a veil wrapped around her body, her thick hair tied up in a bun, she gets off of the horse with Dusk walking up to her and helping her get down.

Standing before everyone, she greets them all as Ella hugs her saying "I'm so happy to see you again."

Then after sometime together, Morlagon instantly notices that Takashi hasn't arrived yet.

Morlagon turns to his father saying "I don't know if we should stand here and wait the entire time, should I have us go inside already?"

Marshogon pats his shoulder saying "Don't worry, he'll be here."

Maldu then says to them "Come in, let us have supper, we'll have men be on the lookout for Takashi when he gets here."

"Yes, I'm starving, it's been a long way getting here." Noo-un says as they all start to walk inside the palace.

As they all walk through the halls, being bowed to by every person, Marshogon makes sure everyone is well seated once getting into the dining hall.

The large glass table being watched over by large painted ceilings and a glass chandelier makes the shine bright and showcase just a little bit of the beauty that Lesothia holds.

To add to the beautiful aspect of the room is the warriors themselves, along with their top men and women with them, the warriors, dressed up in their traditional outfits and colors.

Noo-un decorated in red, orange, and brown.

Anun decorated in white, beige, and gold.

Mashina decorated in all white.

Dae-Mi decorated in red, white, blue, and gold.

Newen decorated in blue, grey, and black.

Ella-Sophia decorated in orange, red, white, and brown.

Dusk decorated in red, orange, and black.

With Dawn dressed in peach/gold and red.

But right as they all sit down to start eating, one of the guards comes into the room saying, "your power, Takashi has arrived."

All of them look to each other as Morlagon gets up saying, "I'm coming."

Walking outside the palace, Morlagon walks back down to the gate as he sees the small crowd and the familiar face in the middle.

"Takashi, it's been a long time."

Greeting him, Takashi takes off his gloves and mask to say to Morlagon, "it has, sorry for being long, it wasn't easy to leave the country."

Hearing Takashi's tone of voice, Morlagon asks, "is everything alright back home?"

Then effortlessly, Takashi answers him by saying, "no, I would like to speak with you after dinner if that is okay."

"That's fine." Morlagon says with a worried undertone.

"For now, let's eat, shall we?"

Walking back into the palace, Morlagon leads his men inside, all of them covered in black and gold, with their gold eyes piercing through their masks.
